The words for " rice ball" also happen to mean "demon slash"
His signature move is pretty much named for the moment in his life where everything changed

And Oni Giri actually means Ogre Cutter. Not sure why they say "Demon Slash" in the sub, sounds cooler? I don't know.

@@miguelgonzalez6495 Oni is a often given a universal term in Japanese folklore and can be considered an Ogre, or youkai, or demon. Their ogre like appearance makes them often compared to the ogres of the western world. However, Oni are often considered an akuma or of the demonic beings. As they are considered a being of the Yomi, they are also considered a youkai.
As for kiri, it means to cut. As slash is a synonym of cut and is more appropriate for a striking blow, Oni Giri can be translated into Demon Slash, though it also can be translated to Ogre Cut. You can use whichever you feel sounds better.

Something that way too many people don't notice is that Nico Robin had to draw her hands back from the door when they were attacking. The sword even managed to barely cut it before she drew them back and it affected her real body since you can see she's bleeding. It's a big weakness that people forget about when talking about how OP her power is.

I read the manga, watched the anime then rewatched the series to show the wife. Rewatches are well worth it.

Zoro vs. Mr.1 is one of my favorite fights in Anime without BG Music in the End just their Voice and SFX and the Shadows Shade, The Blood of their Body and The Environment of this Scene was so Cold and Badass 🔥

I miss when OP fights used to happen in one go.. I don't care if a fight extends for even 10 episodes, as long as we follow the fighters throughout. But having a 5 minute fight sequence spread over 20 episodes (which is the trend nowadays) gives me no pleasure!
