The chao cheese is AMAZING melted! Try it on grilled cheese!
I tried the vegan tuna from Target, it's a different brand (Carolina's, I think), and it's pretty good :) It's watery, so make sure to get all the juice out (strain it) and mix with lots of Just Mayo, some ketchup and a little of mustard. Chop some celery in there and there you have tuna salad! It's so good on nice soft bread. We made sandwiches and can't get enough of it!

Chao is seriously a game changer in vegan cheese! I had my first vegan cheese 12 years ago and it was AWFUL. Terrible. Oily and felt like dry play-doh. Vegan foods have come a long long way! Thanks for making these videos, ladies!
Daiya cheese was also a big leap, but it definitely has a distinctive flavor not everyone enjoys.
I know! Even in the last few years it's changed so much. It's delicious now and hopefully more and more people will see that too :)

And I loove the cheddar popcorn and the vegan cookies. You have to try Late July jalapeno lime tortilla chips if you haven't. They taste like doritos, only organic and vegan.

I have tried so many different vegan cheeses and they all taste icky! Im gonna try that cheese! Loved the video! Just subbed :) Have you tried the frozen cheesecake dessert made out of tofu? Its interesting! Lol

And no I haven't tried tofu cheesecake but I've had some INSANELY good cashew based cheesecakes that were absolute Heaven :) Have you tried cashew milk ice-cream? That jackfruit was BBQ... that's definitely for sandwiches like pulled pork, not tacos. Not tacos at all. Who makes BBQ tacos?

+MissVranHalen I actually haven't tried jackfruit! I'm so iffy about it! I've been avoiding jackfruit and that "tuna" for a while now - oh, and that new vegan egg! I'm not big on meat alternatives yet. I do like some gardein products, though.
But now I kind of want BBQ jackfruit tacos! hahaha

"Vegan Popcorn".... so your pop corn is usually not vegan ? It's just corn.... So many pre-made food (I know it was the purpose of this episode but it's still sad to me).
I know! It's a little strange because it is just corn but it is typically seasoned with things like butter and/or cheese, sometimes milk powder, etc. Not all popcorns are not vegan but it's important to check anything that comes in a package :) So cool that you're watching from France! why would you eat the tuna by itself? did you do that with real tuna before you went vegan? lol that's so strange to me at least mix it in with some vegan mayo and put it in a sandwich lol😂
I hear you but we wanted to see what it tasted like on it's own in order to truly judge it. If it had a bunch of mayo and spices it would be hard to tell if it was actually good. I've had other vegan tunas that are better, this was oily and strange but maybe mixed with mayo it would be different. I'm not above giving it a second try :) Do you like vegan tuna?
really what other vegan tuna have you had? I actually bought the one you guys tried but haven't made anything with it yet! Im looking forward to making a tuna melt though haha:)
The toonah is tempeh. I can understand the packaging is repulsing. But give it another try.
