I think he saying I’ll always come back to you and his heart is drifting on the wind because he’s been waiting forever and his love won’t die out, just like an evergreen tree aka a Christmas tree. He compares the stars in the night sky to a Christmas tree because they light up the night and make it sparkle the same way the Christmas tree lights do but those feels and word to express them get tangled up in side like when you have to take the lights out of the Christmas tree box and untangle them to decorate the tree. It’s a tidious task but worth it because it will be so beautiful once accomplished. You have to really listen to the words. But pay attention to the phrases he’s emphasizing most. He’s saying he’s been in love forever with this person for eternity the way Christmas trees never die. A side note: traditionally Christmas trees never came inside. Initially you decorated your tree in the Forrest rather than cutting it down. You decorated it to establish it as your tree for your family and loved ones and everyone would know by the decorations that it was for one family specifically so they could bring the gifts for those family members to that specific tree. And when the morning came, everyone would go outside into the snow and find their family’s tree and then collect the gifts. The tree would be used again the following year. Family members would move away or die off, but their tree would remain. Taehyung is referencing this part of the tradition when he mentions the first snow, the purity of it being untouched. As children we love with purity as most do with the first snow, everyone wants a to be the first to touch it. It’s virginal. Therefore so is the love.

He compares the stars in the night sky to a Christmas tree because they light up the night and make it sparkle the same way the Christmas tree lights do but those feels and word to express them get tangled up in side like when you have to take the lights out of the Christmas tree box and untangle them to decorate the tree. It’s a tidious task but worth it because it will be so beautiful once accomplished. You have to really listen to the words. But pay attention to the phrases he’s emphasizing most. He’s saying he’s been in love forever with this person for eternity the way Christmas trees never die. A side note: traditionally Christmas trees never came inside. Initially you decorated your tree in the Forrest rather than cutting it down. You decorated it to establish it as your tree for your family and loved ones and everyone would know by the decorations that it was for one family specifically so they could bring the gifts for those family members to that specific tree. And when the morning came, everyone would go outside into the snow and find their family’s tree and then collect the gifts. The tree would be used again the following year. Family members would move away or die off, but their tree would remain. Taehyung is referencing this part of the tradition when he mentions the first snow, the purity of it being untouched. As children we love with purity as most do with the first snow, everyone wants a to be the first to touch it. It’s virginal. Therefore so is the love.
