It is really stressful job to be a cabin crew. I just would like to say that be respectful to them when you are on a flight and when they greet you try to genuinely smile and say hello. You don't know how much this person in front of you is tired and stressed and a small gesture from you can give them joy.

An interesting video . Though experiences will vary as you spend more time in any profession, after another 4 years you'll also get some more perspective regarding your occupation. Having said that, cabin crew as well as crew members ( such as those working on cruise ships etc ) have limitations on their visas. Which means that if one visits US on a B1/B2 viz a viz what cabin crew travel on ( which is a C1/D ) visa have a lot of restrictions. They can't just willy Billy stay on if they feel like , and usually considered as purely transit visas. Which means that at times even if you do travel to these foreign locales, your travel is limited. The food , stay etc is also limited to a budget . If you're working in a gold standard of aviation like quatar or Emirates obviously it's higher, however there is a cap on what the crew cab order ( and usually liquor alcohol etc ) not included . Cabin crew are usually expected to share hotel rooms, so even if you're in a luxury room it's not alone. If COVID has taught anyone anything in the air line business , is that the skill set is so specific, that if one doesn't do some additional course or have some additional skill , they can be laid off or worse grounded. The real money making happens only on international travels, where one gets some allowance. Having said all industries have their pros and cons. There are some who have done this profession for over 20 30 years , and others only look at it as a short term stint. What one makes of their line of work depends on the individual . So it's better to have all information before making any choice .
You talk about travelling.. advantage and disadvantage.. emotion control when dealing in the aviation.. and sleeping pattern... and on job stress... health issue to balance schdule of food... and timing of working hours.. Overall its you cover all your working experience as a cabin crew.. best wishes.
