And finally it is, indeed, not unthinkable that Emma has some friends who are of Hindi origin and who can assist here. In the Netherlands lives a lot of people who have Hindi origin, coming from Suriname when it became independent in 1975. @Soumya Ajmera The most important reason for accepting that Emma translate herself is that she, when asked, at many occasions has declared that that is the case. She admits that it takes indeed a lot of time. But she considers it as an important task that has to be done carefully. She tries to avoid mistakes as much as possible. Further you have to realise that Emma is a very cleaver girl. She finished High School and was ready for entering the Free University of Amsterdam to study Company Management. In fact she started the education, but then after only one month she preferred to go on with her carrier as a singer. She liked that to much. Being such a smart girl it has to be accepted that she organise assistance. My guess is 90% self - 10 procent assistance. Then translating into English is differs considerably from than translating into a language you ar not familar with. She has never translated into Korean, Hindi, Bahasa Indonesia, Spanish etc etc. Only from that languages into English. The reason that guide me to conclusions about her to know little bit about indonesian languages is because i think Netherlands and Indonesia have some little bones from pass, and there are so many indonesians there. You rightly stated that there are still a lot of strings that connect the Dutch and Indonesian societies. In fact it is unthinkable that an common history of 450 years has no longer effect on Indonesia, BUT also on the Netherlands. The influence of Dutch behaviour and thinking and way of doing is undoubtedly still present if you compare the Indonesian people with that of their nabouring countries. I discover that immediately. But it is also the other way around. The influence of Indonesia on the Netherlands society is still enorm. There are so many people here with Indonesian roots. And they always show in one way or the other there indonesion way of life, thinking etc. Even the parents of our Prime minister Mark Rutte lived in Indonesia. And everybody accepts that as normal, they even don't notice it any longer. Further, e.g. every town in the Netherlands has still at least one Indonesian restaurant, every town has still its Indonesian quarter with streets named to the Indonesian islands. Since Indonesia is doing so well the last decade, Dutch people are very proud that their former partner now takes its independent, right and important place in the world. And... finally back to the covers by Emma of Indonesian songs. All these songs sounds very very familiar to me based as they seemed to be on a at least in this respect still common cultural tradition!

And finally it is, indeed, not unthinkable that Emma has some friends who are of Hindi origin and who can assist here. In the Netherlands lives a lot of people who have Hindi origin, coming from Suriname when it became independent in 1975. @Bert Barnhoorn @Bert Barnhoorn how can u be so sure that Emma only did it.....bcz ... It's not that easy to translate hindi songs into english.. ... I too can understand some Korean ..but it doesn't mean that ...i can translate things into korean... And not even hindi ...she does it for other languages also...its not necessary that she only does it... there is 95% chance that someone else does for her...and 5% chance that she does it.. we can just guess ..... ..

@Soumya Ajmera The most important reason for accepting that Emma translate herself is that she, when asked, at many occasions has declared that that is the case. She admits that it takes indeed a lot of time. But she considers it as an important task that has to be done carefully. She tries to avoid mistakes as much as possible.
Further you have to realise that Emma is a very cleaver girl. She finished High School and was ready for entering the Free University of Amsterdam to study Company Management. In fact she started the education, but then after only one month she preferred to go on with her carrier as a singer. She liked that to much. Being such a smart girl it has to be accepted that she organise assistance. My guess is 90% self - 10 procent assistance.
Then translating into English is differs considerably from than translating into a language you ar not familar with. She has never translated into Korean, Hindi, Bahasa Indonesia, Spanish etc etc. Only from that languages into English.
Finally I hope that this information will not detract you from enjoying her covers and since last year als her own songs.

@@bertbarnhoorn thank you Sir. Really appreciated. The reason that guide me to conclusions about her to know little bit about indonesian languages is because i think Netherlands and Indonesia have some little bones from pass, and there are so many indonesians there. So im thinking she learn it little bit from her friends or studied herself.
@@wimtarukallo I am sure Emma has some friends here with an Indonesian origin who could assist here. You rightly stated that there are still a lot of strings that connect the Dutch and Indonesian societies. In fact it is unthinkable that an common history of 450 years has no longer effect on Indonesia, BUT also on the Netherlands. The influence of Dutch behaviour and thinking and way of doing is undoubtedly still present if you compare the Indonesian people with that of their nabouring countries. I discover that immediately. But it is also the other way around. The influence of Indonesia on the Netherlands society is still enorm. There are so many people here with Indonesian roots. And they always show in one way or the other there indonesion way of life, thinking etc. Even the parents of our Prime minister Mark Rutte lived in Indonesia. And everybody accepts that as normal, they even don't notice it any longer. Further, e.g. every town in the Netherlands has still at least one Indonesian restaurant, every town has still its Indonesian quarter with streets named to the Indonesian islands. Since Indonesia is doing so well the last decade, Dutch people are very proud that their former partner now takes its independent, right and important place in the world. And... finally back to the covers by Emma of Indonesian songs. All these songs sounds very very familiar to me based as they seemed to be on a at least in this respect still common cultural tradition!
