I remember as a kid growing up in the early 70's learning about chess and,one day here in the UK the school teacher brought in i think it was some sort of article newspaper cutting of one of his very first games and the class learnt from it as a lesson...He was such a great talent, and the rest that followed were all influenced by him.He annoyed koichnoi by playing A6 against e4 lol think he called it the birmingham opening from where he came from over here.Legendary chess player....

Thanks Sheriff! Appreciate that. 4 more videos in the works! Also dang I wish I had a Facebook, I'll have to ask my mom to look y'all up for me tomorrow. I'd follow it immediately if I had one! (You don't have instagram do you?)

Greetings from Guatemala. Thank you for posting this excellent and most interesting video. It is a video I will definitely need to look at more than once, to try to understand it better.

Greetings from the United States! Thank you bro, glad you got something out of it. If you haven't seen it already, I have a Hippo playlist with 8 videos on there so far, working on 4 more currently. No pressure to watch the other stuff at all but it may be helpful for you.

Do you have any more Toney Miles Hippo games. This game is great. I got so many great ideas from it.

That's a good question. None come to mind but I will look up his name and see if he has more on file. I as well have gotten a lot out of his Hippo!

    Another solid video, Solomon!
Do you have any strong opinions on the Orangutan Opening: Birmingham Gambit (1.b4 c5)? I typically respond to queenside openings by White with c5, but struggle with plans in the rare Birmingham Gambit.

Hey J Dub! Glad you enjoyed it bro. And ya thanks for that recommendation - I hadn't heard of it but it looks really fun with some creative ideas for black. I'll try and get working on this tomorrow.

Google + Subscribers sending in requests. I can't tell you the amount of times subs have sent me openings I've never even heard of!
