ABOUT & GAMEPLAY: WEBBED
Webbed is the story of a happy little spider on an adventure to save her boyfriend from a big mean bowerbird.
Explore the dangerous wilderness with nothing but your webs and your wits. Practise the art of web swinging to speed your way through the world!
Leave your own unique mark by spinning webs through the interconnected world. Stick webs to almost anything and use them to create your own paths.
Make friends with bugs, and dance with them. Some bugs could use a little help from a friend and might even join your rescue effort in return!

You get a sticker when you beat the game to look like the Blue spider. the Blue, bright colors, indicate male, in spiders, while dull indicate female [though this is a funny spider game where you have lazer eyes]

Its rly realistic, I like that, so much attention to detail. For example, the bird that stole blitz’s boyfriend was a blue bowerbird and bowerbirds are known for taking certain coloured objects to decorate their nests, usually the same colour as themselves. The male spider just so happens to be blue

A little biology lesson for y'all: This game is set in australia, the main character is a female peacock jumping spider, and the villain is a male satin bowerbird. The "sky bower" is a structure that male bowerbirds build to impress the females, although they are usually non-magical and constructed on the ground.
As someone who lives in Australia and has seen a satin bowerbird, they really are so blue

That bird is actually a real type here in Australia and New Guinea (?), it’s called a bower bird and they build elaborate nests with certain coloured objects (like blue ones such as your ‘boyfriend’) to attract mates
The spiders are from Australia too, they are adorable Peacock Spiders.

The speedrun for this game is gonna be absolutely wicked. Grappling onto moving creatures in order to speed up… it’s going to be insane
You can actually float in midair with small objects like a fly and a small pebble, the faster you spam the jump button, faster you go
Fun fact: spiders have a type of web called "balloon web" which allows them to float with the wind
I really like this game and cant wait for the next episode

The blue spider you see in the tutorial is a real species of spider it’s called a Peacock jumping spider.
So's your player, only male peacock spiders are blue.

A totally normal and adorable spider game... with LASERS!
This is necessary for my existence.
First off, a jumping spider, and I love jumping spiders, I even have a pet jumping spider.
Second, you can commit arson and eat whatever you want.
Third, the art is adorable.

IIRC, Peacock spiders are a type of jumping spider.
