The Berliner, who sold his house and most of his belongings in Canada five years ago, is touring across Europe to present his fifth album "As You Let Go: Songwriting Sundays," which will be officially released on February 22, 2019. It's David Blair's first purely acoustic album, presenting only one vocal and instrument track per song about freedom, peace, love, friendship and loss in life. The songs are from David Blair's songwriting Sundays series, when the singer/songwriter wrote a new song every Sunday in 2015/2016 for eight months. The album brings together the most beautiful songs from this collection.

technically it's not a boby darin song, although he recorded it and helped make it famous. This song was also recorded twice by frank sinatra. Originally the song was written for a documentary film called (Mondo Cane) , This ONE song turned out to outlast the documentary film, and most of the people that recorded it and made it famous.
Having said that, your version is one of the nicest out there. You did this song justice.
It's the dream to write a piece of music that will live on even after you are no longer in this world, but also being one who keeps it alive is sometimes even more important..

Yes I knew it was part of a film and Bobby Darin covered it, I just love his version the best which is why I mentioned it as 'his' song. Thank you for the great compliment - and I agree about it being a dream for someone to write a piece of music that outlives the person who wrote it - it's definitely a dream of mine!
