Bethel is an amazing church and they are a special movement from God they are the Body of Christ as are all churches that place their main focus on Christ then each other. Believers have been singing praises to Him for thousands of years. It's not taking glory from Him it's us bringing glory to him with the gifts he's given. When we listen to songs like healer we should be jumping dancing singing and lifting our hands to him that healed us.

No one has to promote Bethel. Just like when Jesus healed the sick, and delivered the demon possessed, His fame grew even without His consent! haha, nothing you can do to stop the word of mouth when a church of people are relentless for His glory and fullness. God uses those gifted as prophets to discern, warn, rebuke, and correct. Many prophets get blocked and rejected for preaching the truth and exposing deception and false teachings. This is nothing new as they stoned the OT prophets. Many Christians do not like God's prophets because they may seem critical and unloving. When these people get blocked - the Spirit gets quenched.

Here is the problem. The Bible never endorses or promotes any particular group. If your friend got delivered, then give ALL of the glory to God. God is our Deliverer, not Bethel. God gets ALL of the credit, ALL of the glory, and ALL of the attention. Bethel should never be promoting itself, nor should anyone else promote Bethel. That is 100% unbiblical and is making Bethel out to be something special. Some would call that spiritual pride.
