Damn, the bit about depression shows a grave lack of self-awareness. Not everything can be solved by going outside, can’t fixed a fucked family or being anyone back or reverse any chaos.
Then there’s people who are just born depressed and lead a life-long struggle against it

Absolutely my only option with a platform is trying to help people change their mindset to help change the negative things happening in their life as much as I can. Never have I ever discredited or put someone down for depression and I never will, I have family members who are clinically depressed and I have personally experience in long conversations of their mind and I understand that changing your mindset has a HUGE impact on how you perceive the world and how you feel.
U have done such a good job. The UK people seems harder to get on camera and participate. Good job Tristen. Thank you for putting in so much effort.
thats because usually when someone stops you there either trying to mug, get a cigarette or sell you something in britain.
depression is a much more complex disease than what you made it out to be. people can have and do a lot more than most and still deal with depression or anxiety. changing your mindset can only help so much. shout out to everyone fighting the battle with mental illness. keep up the good fight < 3

Lived there many years hope you enjoy it!!Tristan the streetstyle in London is great try to get to some of these areas-to Shoreditch, Islington ,Hackney Camden, Portobello, Brixton, Brick Lane these kind of areas are where funky people hang out ..you will see a lot of great streetstyle there ...Londoners are notoriously standoffish they do not talk to people on the street.. and of course there are a lot of people from other countries who might be easier to chat to..good luck( I'm English myself):)

Feeling a bit somber or “depressed” because your youtube channel has less views and the diagnosis of a depression (having a depression) are completely different things. And having everything (including balance, family, friends and what not) still does not mean you will not experience a depression. Maybe it would be good to read up on some psychology theory and look into biological factors, and life events (severe trauma) contributing to the disease as well. Usually love your motivational speeches, but this one was quite ignorant.
People defending depression as something that is unfixable is something I don’t want to subscribe to and none of you should either because that ideology doesn’t help anyone. I’ve had family members on pills and that are clinically depressed and changing your MINDSET has a huge impact on your mood and trying to change the scenario. As long as I have a platform I hope to encourage people to take some responsibility and make sure they BELIEVE they can fix their situation. People that try to tell people they have no option and can’t fix it are APART OF THE PROBLEM! Love you guys❤️

You can’t compare your experiences with anxiety to other people’s. Everyone’s struggle is unique. Celebrate your wins but don’t compare your struggle. If some people have to mope about in bed as then let them be. But we can’t pass judgement on people’s unfortunate situations
Who is passing judgement? Laying and bed and complaining about any situation doesn’t come to a resolution people need to take action and responsibility in their lives to make a change. Telling people they can’t do anything to change how they feel is APART OF THE PROBLEM

Mate clinical depression is the same as any other illness. It’s literally due to neurological imbalances and goes beyond mere “feelings” or “being low” 🤦🏻♂️

It takes a lot of therapy and medication to rewire someone’s brain (not mind, brain) that’s why it’s not about the MINDset. It’s a BRAIN reset. Tristan is young - when he get older he will figure out that it’s all the same and pointless, and it’s no way to unseen and forget about it ,how pointless everything is….and the world is also deeply lost in the wrong values ,,.. but until you figure it out ( usually around 30 so things) you enjoy living in a simple pleasures, Love and light and butterflies 🦋, I am not tended to get a depression but I had a moments to feel it for a short time ,it’s it’s nothing about how much you have, what clothes you have or how much travelling you do… it’s way deeper issues and everyone is dealing with their own. I wish happiness and lightness to everyone. Never judge anyone unless you walked their shoes.
what a gross eay to minimize depression and anxiety.. some people have trauma.. generational trauma even which is passed eopgeneticlly. not usually as much of an issue with young straight white boys so that's probably why you can't relate.

However, I didn‘t like that part where you talked about depression. I know you didn‘t mean it in a bad way but people can still be depressed even though they have all those things you mentioned. You don‘t know how these depressed people feel. Such statements can be really hurtful to depressed people, especially since most of them already struggle talking to other people about it.

I like seeing the contrast of London and nyc seems there were a lot more of international people in London which is cool. Would love to visit London one day! About mental health, yes a lot more people would feel better if they motivated themselves to go out there and get what they need but it’s not easy to say that since we don’t all start at the same point in life some people are born poor and are abandoned and have no family some kids go through traumatic situations. So there will always be exceptions to that kind of message, but on the other hand I do agree that pushing yourself to seek discomfort (yes theory pun) and put yourself out there can help tremendously.

Everyone has past experiences & different genetic make up that impact the way they interact with the world, we all have different lenses that we look out of. Im not saying people should sit in their depression but its not always as easy nor consistent as you claim it to be
