      Thank you, I cant take all the credit. I did see another and made my own version. If you look at all the comments everything is there. For sure make it your own. I cant say mine is perfect but it works very well.

    Thank you for sharing this. There are a lot of builds out there, and this is probably the most simple and cost effective ones I've seen. Just tried my own "rescue boat" idea today and ended up having to get wet.. so I'm building one of these.

      You are very welcome. I really enjoy building all this. I am not that good of swimmer so its needed by me for sure LOL! One other helpful hint. If I go after my smaller RC boats the back can be a bit high. I take a piece of Bunji cord and wrap around the bottom of the back pipe to help hold the boat lower in the water. It works great. You can also put it around the center support to keep the boat you are rescuing further forward.

      @@bradsrcsmore3848 That's a great idea and was one of my concerns as well. I referenced your channel in my build video so credit is given where due

I improved one part of it but want to fine toon it a bit before I put out the update video. I will tell you for the catamaran boats its very much needed! Fast fun and cant get them back in if you flip them :-)

    Hey brother, i'm 100% building this rescue rig! Just one quick question: what diameter pvc pipe did you go with? 25mm? 20mm? Thanks for everything, the clip is great and very helpful!

    • @bradsrcsmore3848
      @bradsrcsmore3848  5 месяцев назад

      I make it out of all 1/2 inch PVC and it is plenty big enough. Any larger and it gets very bulky. You are very welcome, that is why I put it on here so others can share the wealth of not having to swim after their boats :-)

    Nice! Don't you think that standart catamaran baloons would provide better perfomance?

    • @bradsrcsmore3848
      @bradsrcsmore3848  Год назад +1

      Hi, I am not looking really for high performance just being able to retrieve my boats when they flip or have issues out in open water. To me its mainly to keep me safe but still fun to run and on a budget too. :-)

    The motor holes are typically 16x19 but that servo bracket holes are 14x14 so how did you mount the motor?

    • @bradsrcsmore3848
      @bradsrcsmore3848  2 месяца назад

      I drilled new holes in the servo arm bracket. I mounted the motor directly to the bracket. I did not use the mount that came with the motor, however I did use it for a template to drill the holes.

    Do you think this would be powerful enough to push a 1 to 2 pound duck or a 10 pound goose possibly?

    How much would you charge for this to be built for a catermeran boat genisis ?

    • @bradsrcsmore3848
      @bradsrcsmore3848  5 месяцев назад

      I am not really into building for hire. I put this out as a DIY so others can do it themselves. I am so sorry but I am just not set up to do it for hire.
