As a 2014 tundra owner. I like your videos. Good job. My input on lifts. I did one a while back on a truck. Never again. I lost all practicality of my truck. Hard time getting into the back of my truck box. Throwing stuff on the back was a pain. Hooking a trailer and you needed a drop ball that's a foot long. I killed ball joints. No thanks. I'll keep my tundra at stock hight where it was designed to last forever. A TRD pro would be awesome though. But, then again. It comes from the factory like that. Toyota tested!
+Cretens My 09 was lifted. It was fun at the time but I wouldnt do it again. Mpg was bad, alignments way too often, etc. Yea, the Pro height is perfect but then again, so is stock! 👍🏼
Best camera angle yet; it accentuates that awesome TRD exhaust note. I've heard a lot of folks talk about the headlight adjustment switch in the 14 and up Tundras like it was new?? I had it in my 2011, so I guess it wasn't a very common option in at least the 11's and up; most likely 2010s, too. Entune, ahhhhh, the never-ending electronic enter/infotainment system debate and arms race. Entune is not great. I say that because if you are looking for great interoperability with Android and/or Apple, it is, how can I put this nicely; severely lacking. However, my expectations of stock audio systems haven't changed since my first experience with my grandma's 1975 Ford LTD Philco AM radio. Keyword; expectations. For a stock system, I have very little issue with the Tundra's Entune. Granted, I am speaking of the Entune Plus in my SR5. It's also referred to as the non-JBL. My take on this is that if I want an audiophile experience, I'm going to put it in myself. I know other's believe for what we are paying for these trucks, we should get the top of the line but, the facts are that I'll take the solidly built hardware over a crappy sound system everyday, because we all know when an area of focus recieves an upgrade, another recieves a downgrade (see Oh Sh%t handle comment below). My biggest complaint with my Entune Plus is not being able to plug in destinations or any input for that matter into my Scout GPS linked nav (I use the term nav VERY loosely) system. WTF? Toyota? It's hands-free?? Seriously though, who is the genius who approved/disapproved that option/capability? Two words for him: choke yourself. I have to literally pull over; place my transmission in park; and enter the destination. Nope, that's not all. Then, WAIT, for the system to see if it can find it dependent upon cell service, GPS satellite signal, and probably a few other unknown variables I am not aware of. If I get a good signal(s), then it's off to the races (minus .3 mpg) because I literally am just a little ticked by now and WOT is my way of venting. I wonder what all the other idiots on the road think of me when I'm stopped putting in a new destination? Nevermind, don't wanna know, I can guess. One last thing Toyota (I know they'll never hear this, but I can hope), where is my driver side Oh SH*t handle? All these years I was young and vibrant with great workout ethic, loving to show off my biceps and pecs while I flexed my way into my trucks; GONE. Problem is now, I'm 46 and don't give a flip about the flexing, workout, etc, but my back's shot. I NEED that handle Toyota. Do you hear me? I go to physical therapy only to come out and throw away my effort on crawling into my truck. NO, I'm not getting a car, and yes, I'm keeping a 4WD and lifted. So for Pete's sake, get the handles back in there and RETROFIT. Anyhoo, thanks for the great vid and hope I didn't overstay my welcome. cheers
+William Crews thats a great view on the Entune system for sure! Im also pretty certain that handle will return. Its what everyone wants back. Lets all hope lol 👍🏼
Camera angle is fine! We want you to be safe and there isn’t ever a reason to look into the camera! Please Keep your eyes 👀 on the road!!!!!! 21 months to go with my Silverado lease then it’s Ridgeline Tacoma or Tundra! QDR is what it’s all about! Well done!
In your earlier video you said that you can not get into you Tundra while the automatic start is on with out it turning off. I would get that checked. I tried mine the other day, no problem. It's like all the others insert key and go.
+Justabigdawg thanks for commenting! Search toyota remote start on youtube. It supposed to shut off when u unlock the vehicle. So weird. They say its part of the security measure of the vehicle or something. Maybe you lucked out and your vehicle has an aftermarket remote start the dealership put in? Who knows lol. Have a great evening 👍🏼
+Justabigdawg just saw another video of a remote start system where you can get in and turn the key and go. Its also offered by toyota. Guess you got that one. Youre very lucky 😂
They installed mine at the Toyota dealership and it is a Toyota product. Weird. Also, the passenger door will not unlock until I open the drivers door first.
Hey Tundra Dude... just purchased a 2013 tundra SR5 crewmax wth 5.7 ltre engine. Question... in your opinion what is the best and cheapest leveling kit for my truck? Not gonna off-road .. i do pull a 5500 lb travel trailer. Thinking about 3 to 1 level kit. Any thoughts....Thanks
+Leland Franklin i can honestly say ive never had a problem with the rear windows fogging up. But worst case scenario u drive with the back windows down for a few minutes and it would clear right up 👍🏼
DC all the way!! what's your range on your gas tank? I have the '15 tundra trd pro dc, and I get 310(ish) on a full tank, but I have the 26 gallon tank. also i got a 'proclip' for my iPhone, its sweet, b/c it's right above the wiper stalk and its right in the line of sight - no looking down. you should look into it!
+TundraDude34 +1 on the proclip phone mount. That's what I use on my 2015 DC xp. I actually mounted a ram mount x-grip to the proclip and it works great. My only minor gripe on the interior is the lack of illuminated switches for the windows and door locks.
I like your vids bro keep it up. One thing I wish my tundra came with was automatic headlights and tire pressure monitor. Also the driver's side grab handle, even though I install one it should be standard like the last generation tundras.
+rpaul247 .. Okay, my 2016 Limited has automatic headlights, no need to know the tire pressure (just low warning, which it has), and agree with you about the grab handle.
Just started watching your videos bro! Im a tundra guy lookin to get an awesome TRD pro someday! Great camera angle too! Kindly give me some exhaust note clips! Cool truck bro
+JayProFitness hey man, I appreciate the kind words 👍🏼 i actually have a video titled cold start plus a few revs, check it out. Also I see your a fitness guy, im actually half way thru my leg day workout right now lol. #Fitfam 👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼
I added a TRD cold air intake and i love the engine sound. What impresses me about the Tundra TRD dual exhaust is how quiet it is at high consistent highway speed.
In my opinion I've said Toyota reminds me of Apple. Great, reliable products but seem to lack in the latest features. They know people will buy regardless of what features it may have. Example... Most cars nowadays have antenna built right into glass or it may look like an xm antenna. Why do we need a two foot antenna?! Lol. Great video by the way keep them coming!
+Michael Lopes .. Maybe it's because a two foot traditional antenna performs better than the alternatives. Haven't you heard the complaints about weaker reception with stubby antennas, glass-mounted antennas, and similar? Personally, I prefer what works over car-like features.
Yeah, I'm longing for the day for short antennas, too homey. But, until the radiowaves change from FM/AM to all SAT/UHF, you'll be better off with the longer antenna. Did a lot of comms in the military and it's just the nature of the beast. Anybody out there remember the long-whips? Lol, try lugging a 100 lb ruck sack with a 12? ft antenna on a spring around when your short whip ain't cutting the mustard; that's why I get the long antenna; just my two cents. Bottom line, that's why the longer antenna stays; best reception. If you're not interested in FM/AM, then take it off or put a short one on because it's not affecting your SAT or Pandora, etc. Cheers
All the bells and whistles cannot compare to reliability ...my 18 f150 has it all but that stuff does not work well all the time. Can be a real nuisance
+rumerboyz think of it this way, every brand you get into will have squeaks at some point, but only a Toyota engine can last longer then its body hahaha
Wow, really? Sorry to hear that. I know my 16 doesn't have any squeaks/rubs yet after 9K miles, and my 2011 never did after 100K and fairly heavy sound system mods for speakers and such. On another note, my wife's 2015 RAV4 limited however, has an annoying squeak in the area of the keyless start. Minus one for keyless starts. Everything else is cherry.
In the market right now for a Tundra. Your videos really helped me narrowing down which one to get. Thanks
+Mr Nice Guy glad to help!

Agree.
Went to Louden Nascar races, Toyota had a double cab on display. My son who is5ft11 fit perfectly in the back seat
+Marc Aliventi Aliventi yea its not terrible at all. I had 4 double cabs before this crewmax, never a complaint

Let me know if you ever find anything out about the fog lights. THERE SHOULD BE SOME KIND OF MODIFICATION YOU CAN DO. FYI I have SAME 2016 TRD PRO.
+Bruce DeNoble yea im definitely gonna look into it
Dude, that engine sounds so awesome!!! XD
+Shauntell Holm TRD dual exhaust 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Camera angle is fine! We want you to be safe and there isn’t ever a reason to look into the camera! Please Keep your eyes 👀 on the road!!!!!! 21 months to go with my Silverado lease then it’s Ridgeline Tacoma or Tundra!
QDR is what it’s all about! Well done!
hey tundra is hands down best truck
+Troy Gates 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 i agree
True. Quality #1. However, fuel economy is a letdown.
+Ryan T. Cant argue with u there
In your earlier video you said that you can not get into you Tundra while the automatic start is on with out it turning off. I would get that checked. I tried mine the other day, no problem. It's like all the others insert key and go.

+Justabigdawg ive been meaning to ask you, how do you like the moonroof?
It's great, and with the full rear window going down, my wife says it's like being in our Jeep.
Is there a way to factory order a tundra ? I’m in San Jose CA . Great video!
+Justthebeans Go into your local yota dealership and tell them u want to order one, then u will build it together
I’m in San Jose as well lol.
I'm in San Antonio! 😁
What about the fog lights mod. So your fog lights work independent of the headlights like they should. ..
+Bruce DeNoble I totally forgot about that! I never understood why they dont fix that
I got a 2017 SR5 crewmax with TRD off-road package and the speakers are awesome compared to the Tacoma I had. They are loud and some what bassy
+Mervin Gamero turn the bass and treble all the way up (if you havent already) quite impressive
I'm on the allocation list for a double cab. It has no rear defroster compared to crew cab. Any issues in the winter?
+Leland Franklin i can honestly say ive never had a problem with the rear windows fogging up. But worst case scenario u drive with the back windows down for a few minutes and it would clear right up 👍🏼
i love the room on the crewmax but i wish the crewmax had the bigger box
+Meng Supraman double cab is the perfect balance 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

why did urs come with 26 gallon? post that video of pro, I love those red trucks
+Adrian trd
+hellodlo thanks for commenting! I get around 550 miles or so per fillup. Ill def look into that phone clip. Appreciate you watching
+TundraDude34 +1 on the proclip phone mount. That's what I use on my 2015 DC xp. I actually mounted a ram mount x-grip to the proclip and it works great. My only minor gripe on the interior is the lack of illuminated switches for the windows and door locks.
+timerider313 good call. I forgot abt the window and lock lights. I also wish it had auto up on the front windows. Thanks for watching man! 👍🏼
I like your vids bro keep it up. One thing I wish my tundra came with was automatic headlights and tire pressure monitor. Also the driver's side grab handle, even though I install one it should be standard like the last generation tundras.
+rpaul247 u mean like a tire pressure monitor that told u current air pressures? Thanks for watching buddy!
+TundraDude34 yeah that tell you the current pressure. yeah that's what I meant lol.
+rpaul247 i agree man. My pops has a Ram thats loaded with all that stuff
the Ram was in my top two choices of trucks.
+rpaul247 .. Okay, my 2016 Limited has automatic headlights, no need to know the tire pressure (just low warning, which it has), and agree with you about the grab handle.
lookin comfortable n that thang
+Killawott yes sir, thanks for watching! 👍🏼

+JayProFitness bulk season brotha! Lift heavy 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
Thanks for the info!
+Harbinger 8 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I installed a wireless charger on my Tundra TRD, bout $20 and 1/2 hour worth of work
How much do you hear the engine? Do you personally enjoy it?
I added a TRD cold air intake and i love the engine sound. What impresses me about the Tundra TRD dual exhaust is how quiet it is at high consistent highway speed.
Cool

I can't believe you don't have JBL my DC SR5 has it. anyways the JBL is not that good I'm going to upgrade it soon.
+gianni sevilla crazy right???
Camera angle is good.
+The Opinion of Matt Thanks man! I gotta use that again soon. Appreciate you watching
Apparently the CrewMax is the only cab option now.
+Johnathan Lyman in the Pro trim?
Shorts in march 😎😎
+Asaf Farfar 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
All the bells and whistles cannot compare to reliability ...my 18 f150 has it all but that stuff does not work well all the time. Can be a real nuisance
Thats a shame when we pay that much money
I gotta say my 14 tundra crew max interior sucks! The materials are cheap and has lots of squeaks. Just my observations after 20,000 miles.
+rumerboyz o man, that sucks! I will say in my last truck (2014 SR5) the door panels didnt feel like they were on very good. Thanks for watching
TundraDude34 yeah it does suck because the rest of the truck is good except for the gas mileage! lol
+rumerboyz think of it this way, every brand you get into will have squeaks at some point, but only a Toyota engine can last longer then its body hahaha
