"... the game very rarely makes me feel good..." That quote hit me so hard. I have had such an ongoing love/hate relationship with Magic the Gathering. There are parts I will always love. I use the colour pie as an alignment system in my games. Drafting a box with friends is one of my favourite things to do. But boy howdy do I often feel real tilted, angry or just plain gross after playing a bunch, *especially* on arena.
I've been playing MTG for probably 20 years now. I can't really put my finger on why, but I just don't enjoy arena. I guess MTG is always had a social aspect to it for me, and I feel like that is just lost playing against random people on the internet.
