It took me the same amount of time to get AT on map 3 that Scrapie took to finish the campaign
Free to play user here, drove available 10 tracks and achieved AT on all of them. Hopped into matchmaking and i got few runs on tracks 11-15. AT on 11, gold on 12,14 and 15 and silver on 13.

Scrapie is literally one of the best fast learners in the world when it comes to TM. I wouldnt expect the normal player to beat all these ATs anywhere near as fast

Yes, sort of... They removed standard access, so now you only have starter access (free) and club access (€20/year).
I think it used to be €25/year so it got cheaper, though still more expensive than the old standard (which was €10/year I believe).

On track 13 couldn’t you use the transition ramp to skip the rally car transition for a crazy time with stadium car?
This was such a cool campaign, love seeing so many different styles represented. More than makes up for how bad Spring 23 was.

I donwloded the game yesterday on my Xbox One. And yes, i'm missing the AT times :( (although i only managed to get 2 of 'em so far ^^) it's a fun game, but it requires a lot of concentration to do somewhat well. And oh, i d'ont undertstand Bobsleigh AT ALL. I just randomly flipped my car around the track into a silver medal and then gave up. ^^

the ultimate question is if snow car is hated and rally car is at best somewhat liked, just how much will any new car be hated since it's obvious there will be more cars added to try and get more casuals into the game especially with nadeo's parent company ubisoft hemorrhaging money

IMO ATs are hidden for a reason, you usually need hidden knowledge to achieve them. Nobody who plays solitary will know what a speedslide or iceslide is, so gold must be reachable with no tricks

I have author on every map and for the life of me can't get gold on 17. Still 1.4 off even after almost an hour of playing it. Hate the rally car.

I'm not sure who's the bigger imposter, Scrapie for liking maps, or Nadeo for making good maps.
As a free to play guy, I think having an easy first 10 maps is insulting and kind of annoying when I actually want some amount of challenge. Though now if I want a challenge I can just play ranked on maps I've never been allowed to touch, so ig it balances out. shit+shit = get me tf out of this game

I was contemplating buying Club before the winter campaign and this change. It just disincentived me. I was going to hunt the ATs and if I felt like I was good enough, I would invest. Now I feel no need to, as they clearly don't care about getting new players, just getting cash out of those who already paid.
Well, I admire your commitment to f2p, but from Nandos point of view it has to be assumed, that most f2p players are beginners. So it kinda makes sense.

As of Winter campaign free to play only gets you the first 10 tracks, but buying the full game is 10 euros/dollars cheaper than before for more content
Snow car > Rally all day.. Rally feels too heavy and too sensitive. Margin between smooth steer and a complete slide out is too small.
No snow car is a huge Nando W. I'm beyond happy that the future campaigns won't be absolutely littered with the united cars

Snow car missing from the campaign gives me hope that maybe someday Trackmania is again a game that does not have rally car in it.
Well that's it. I'm done paying for club access. I have tried to learn the stadium car since the launch of the game and just don't have time or energy to learn TWO new cars and fucking wood. All the cars should have dedicated campaigns.
Seems like they're just doing the new cars in one normal campaign and that's the next one after their release

As a casual player thats fairly average, this campaign is the worst so far by a large margin. I've given up on even unlocking the last 5 maps because the red maps are so horrible. The game has gone downhill significantly since the addition of the new cars. Rally car is absolute trash and should just be deleted.
If you play on keyboard it’s ggs, but it you play on controller just turn on action key 3 when driving rally car, it’s a bit annoying to learn but so much easier to drive

its the worst campaign ever. they should just stick to the stadium car instead of inventing 5million new surfaces and mechanics its no fun it feels like shit and the game is going downhill. havent seen a good campaign since summer 23 what will the enxt campaign be? a mix of all cars + 7 new cars and 5new surfaces combined with wet wheels?
its not even possible to play the game without action keys anymore. almost every map requires you to do a stupid trick or use action keys and it will just get worse with every new car they release from now on.
just give us a normal campaign with the stadium car and do extra campaigns for all the other shit cars

Campaign isn't shit. Nadeo actually created some proper tracks this time around with AT's that aren't driven by a 3 year old.
