I just dropped my eggs in the water before the water gets hot. Let them boil then as soon as they get done boiling, I'll take the hot water off and pour cold water and ice and let them sit for a few minutes. Taking them from the hot water to the cold immediately makes the shells release from the egg immediately.
After I boil my eggs. I pour cold water, ice and a little salt. I also shake the pot til all the eggs have cracks then let them sit at least 5 mins and they peel super easy.
I leave the eggs in room temperature for about 40mins and I'll put them in a pot with room temp water to a boil until hardened.. leave in in a ice bath for a bit until real cool then I put it in a container and shale it really hard and fast then rinse the eggs off
I can see the pipes below my sink are pvc and I don’t want to melt the pvc plastic or any glues/adhesives in the pipe joints and eventually get leaking because of repeated exposure to boiling water.
❤Love this salad ,yummy

This looks great! Question: why do you avoid pouring boiling water by itself down the drain?
I can see the pipes below my sink are pvc and I don’t want to melt the pvc plastic or any glues/adhesives in the pipe joints and eventually get leaking because of repeated exposure to boiling water.
@@TannyCooks I see, good tip, thanks!
