Honestly, this version of the story feels like such a love letter to the original, while still being able to stand on its own. The voice scripting, voice acting and characterization is all just absolutely perfect, and honestly is much more entertaining to watch than most modern TV shows. I have a lot of nostalgia for this series, and I honestly have rewatched this video more times than I’d like to admit - I’m just honestly in love with this rewrite.
I completely agree!! When I heard about this I was honestly pretty skeptical because I have so much love and nostalgia for the original but a trusted LPS✨ connoisseur✨ friend of mine reccomended it and I love this SO much :)

I like how sage was done here. A good guy- but flawed. He has standards, won’t let himself be mistreated, But he tends to swap girls really quickly. I also love that it’s implied he has dyslexia. Poor guy. I also appreciate Alicia and Rachel getting personalities- Jenny and Lena got more too! Overall really great. You do an awesome job of showing not telling. Already watched what’s done of season two so far and can’t wait for more. Got this on rn while I draw!
Im sorry but Lina is now my favourite character solely because of this. The personality you gave her is just immaculate and so funny but it also still feels true to the original in like a building on top of it sort of way. love it

It also made me watch the original popular series, and while the original is definitely darker, I love both of these. And I especially love your humor. I can’t wait to see what you do with Tom in season 2! He’s one of my favorite characters from the original series.
I had to look up the definition of schadenfreude, and it means, "the emotional experience of pleasure in response to another's misfortune." Damn you're right! (・∀・) And it's kind of realistic too! Savannah thinks Brooke deserve this for not only abandoning her at the beginning of the year, but for attempting to literally blind her, which Savannah has a right to be mad. (This isn't excusable in Brooke's case, but it's made clear) But as the saying goes, "if you want to test a man's character, give him power." The nanosecond Savannah becomes popular in Brooke's case, she becomes even worse than her, abandoning her new friends for Sage and popularity, which later backfires on her. God, I love this remake. (≧▽≦)

I really like how you cut out the whole part where Brooke told Sage how Savannah bullied her etc. (which caused them to hate each other..) I always found it weird how sage was ranting to Savannah’s how everyone saw him as the stereotypical dumb jock, but then played right into the stereotype. This entire thing was amazing, including the outfits! 🩷
Both Brook and Savvy deserved so much more. If the two of them just took two seconds to think about what the fuck they were doing I think they would have fixed everything
I’m half way through and omfg WHAT IS HAPPENING I haven’t audibly gasped while watching anything before! Especially an LPS drama! The hints at a sapphic relationship, the fleshed out secondary characters and the new story elements are really keeping me glued to the screen. Truly genre busting!

This was actually so well written, such a nice adaptation. And the depth between all the characters and way you wrote it was honestly so good, i can tell you put a lot of effort into it, and i just stayed up till 2 am watching it lol.
alright, alright, watched the original series as a little kid with no cable television and very little access to the internet until i was a teenager, so to see that's there a WHOLE ASS REBOOT as a senior in college is absolutely wild to me. holy shit, the production quality -- audio, the sets, the character 'models' -- i am blown away. i have a midterm i should be working on, so having this playing in the background will do wonders to make the task less tedious. you put a lot of hard work into this. thank you bringing back a scrap of my childhood; i'm definitely going to look into season 2 as soon as i finish this whole 'movie'/season 1 and have the time. again, thanks

I watched this in one sitting, and I'm completly blown away. I'll admit I teared up a bit in the end when Savy and Brook reconciled. The editing, voice acting, camera work and writing make this one of my favorite videos on the platform. I love how the characters were written, so much charm and personality, the props and set design are so well done! I love how much the characters changed trough the season, I love love love love!!! That Brook has a crush on Savanah, I love that you brought up Brooks neglectful mom is the cause for her awfulness, I love that you gave Leena and Jenny actual personality instead of just being Savys supporting background characters. Im just so happy that this exists and fleshes out and completed the lps popular series :]

I got to say I’m amazed with this remake. The characters seem much more dimensional then the original( which I still love) especially Lina! Her personality seems much more lively( plus comedic) omg I just love this

OH MY GOD BRUH I AM SO INSANE I JUST FOUND THIS, THIS IS SO GOOD. IT GENUINELY MADE ME LAUGH AND HAD ME MORE INVESTED THAN ANYTHING I'VE WATCHED IN MONTHS.
I did not go into this with very high expectations,but I have to say, I ended up loving it. the narrative style is reminiscent of Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants with an odd touch of Sex in the City. It deviates from the original enough to clearly be it's own thing and most of the voices were pleasant enough. giving Lina her own separate personality was amazing, buuut with both being yellow cats, I wish Brooke had sounded differently. the scenes when they talk to each other can be like listening to an internal dialogue making it confusing hurr ❤️ Season two will forever be my favourite. It was a good call making it college age over high school. The whole time I watched this, I couldn't help wondering...how does Sophie G feel about this series?

Ive never really been into littlest pet shop but I remember about when I was seven I collected nearly all the pets I never knew it was popular in RUclips aswell I have heard of this "lps popular" before and what you made it very good! Especially with toys I could see this being on Netflix with actual actors your story writing is impeccable

Love that you made Lena an actual character. I found she was just there for Sav to come to a realization in the og, ignored throughout most. Another small detail I liked is that Lena and Jenny didn’t ditch Sav right after she says she wants to try again with Brooke in the beginning. It felt odd to me that they were so ready to get angry at her after such a small thing 😭

OH MY GOD BRUH I AM SO INSANE I JUST FOUND THIS, THIS IS SO GOOD. IT GENUINELY MADE ME LAUGH AND HAD ME MORE INVESTED THAN ANYTHING I'VE WATCHED IN MONTHS.
I did not go into this with very high expectations,but I have to say, I ended up loving it. the narrative style is reminiscent of Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants with an odd touch of Sex in the City. It deviates from the original enough to clearly be it's own thing and most of the voices were pleasant enough. giving Lina her own separate personality was amazing, buuut with both being yellow cats, I wish Brooke had sounded differently. the scenes when they talk to each other can be like listening to an internal dialogue making it confusing hurr ❤️
Season two will forever be my favourite. It was a good call making it college age over high school.

Childhood restored. 46minutes in, and I can deduce the storyline is more intentional when it comes to storytelling and character building. There's realistic nuance and motivation. I LOVE THIS SO MUCH!! an lps popular tiktok came on my fyp and it made me miss it all over again, i honestly forgot abt it! but then someone commented u had remade it and it got me so excited. i love this sm how u incorporated a lot of the og but made it so much more. brooke has so much more depth now and their relationship seems more complex. i wasn’t one of the people that used to ship brooke and sav, it never rlly crossed my mind as a possibility but i honestly like it! it makes a lot of sense and has me shipping them so hard now. please tell me they are endgame!!

Love that you made Lena an actual character. I found she was just there for Sav to come to a realization in the og, ignored throughout most. Another small detail I liked is that Lena and Jenny didn’t ditch Sav right after she says she wants to try again with Brooke in the beginning. It felt odd to me that they were so ready to get angry at her after such a small thing 😭
