I'm still partial towards the version in the NES release of Metroid in the U.S., but this is still as great as your other remixes. Very nice work here!
Yeah I also like the NES version a bit more, but gotta give credit to the way this one recreated the OG.

thank you for staying faithful to the original source material instead of doing the NES version of the song and I am not meaning just staying faithful to how Zero Mission and Prime 2 did it.

Not me, the part of the occidental version is more heroic, and I don't think it fit to a moment like this.

I feel you! I too prefer the NES version of this. But I personally agree with Clement's comment over here, it would probably have taken out a bit of the "stressing" vibe the ZM version has.
