Awesome, glad you like it! I find written guides much better for things like builds and talents. And yeah my take is that we're gonna need as much vers as we can get early in the expac, so we shouldn't need to craft anything else.

Pater my good sir i watched your video came down to like and comment and realized your still in the early days of your channel! Sir this video felt like it was perfect, you explained it all perfectly. And as a brand new Hpally this expansion. I will be looking at your guide going forwards. I had one big question i notice in your arena games you dont use light of dawn, the AoE cone heal. Would you consider it a dead talent in everything besides raids and 40v40 battlegrounds???
Thank you so much! And you are correct, Light of Dawn is not good in arena because it has a limited range and does not heal for that much. You also have 2/3 friendly targets beaconed so WOG/Eternal Flame is the clear winner for healing spenders. You probably don't even want to press it in regular battlegrounds either, but I think it is good in epics, when you can hit multiple targets and get more value.
Great presentation! Good explanations. Im a noob but were you throwing out judgements frequently? Any other offense that plays into healing/mitigation?
Judgments are the quickest way to consume your Infusion of Light procs, which is important because we want to reduce the CD on Holy Shock as much as possible using the Imbued Infusions talent. It will also do a bit of healing through the Greater Judgment/Inflorescence of the Sunwell talents.
Thank you for the commentary on the 3 diff type of groups u can be in. that actually helps alot and I like that you included this. Alot of videos just consist of 30 mins of going over talent trees and what buttons to press. Seeing how you react and play with and against people as a Hpal is insanely uselful. Newly rolled pala (only level 72 atm) - Ive been floating at 2.2 on my disc for a while. But wanted to try a new healer. this has been a sick guide, clean and nice use of examples. Whats your opinion of Hpala in 2s?
To be honest, hpala is just not built for 2v2 at the moment. If there's any type of healing reduction, you can't really move HP bars, and the meta 2v2 specs (rdruid, disc, hunters) counter us pretty easily with their utility and CC. I haven't had much success on the spec in 2v2 since Shadowlands.
Great video and breakdown! I feel my biggest weakness as Hpal is the mana game. What were you drinking during that final Arena match? Wanna make sure I can purchase that :) Thanks and great work!

It's included in this set of WeakAuras: wago.io/mp2zakz79. If you only want the An'she (big Holy Shock) WeakAura, you can disable or delete the other ones in the group.
I don't rbg, really, but in my limited experience in bgs/blitz I think hpal makes a pretty good teamfight healer. The radiating healing from Dawnlight is massive in big groups. Playstyle/rotation is the same as arena.
That's right - mouseover healing is too slow for the fast-paced nature of arenas. My targeting binds are: mouse wheel down for party 1, mouse wheel up for party 2, and mouse wheel tilt (on Razer Naga Trinity) to target myself.
I was wondering, does it matter which helmet we make into tier set. I’m only asking because I got a 597 helmet from M0 and I can use those conquest on something else. Or do I still need to buy the conquest helmet to make THAT ONE into tier??
I'm still aiming at 20-30% crit, which feels great to me. Going all mastery is fine too, if you prefer that - the difference is negligible this early in the expansion. In later seasons, it will be easier to get 25% crit and then start stacking mastery.
This video is amazing. You have a new subscriptor (Can you or anyone tell me the name of the addond of bags and the ilvl in the character window? (And the addond of arrows above character also hahah)
Bag addon is called BetterBags. ElvUI gives the ilvl in the character window (it's a complete UI overhaul addon, but this is one thing it does). The arrows over my teammates' heads come from this WeakAura: wago.io/VFamz_5Sx/6
It's ElvUI. It's a complete UI overhaul addon, but it's modular and you can turn on and off bits you don't want. My profile and other imports are here: pastebin.com/u/pattars
Great guide. One thing, that I don't understand as a hpal - offensive rotation. And not a single guide mention it. Maybe it's so simple, that there is no point, but I'm a noob. Can someone help, please?
Generally hpal doesn't get the chance to do much damage in 3v3. It's more important in 2v2 (and possibly BGs), where you want to spend a lot of holy power on Denounce, and use more offensive Holy Shocks. Damage prio in PVP is basically: use holy power on Denounce > Holy Shock > Judgment > Hammer of Wrath. If you don't play Denounce, which you usually don't in 3v3, then just throw in Judgment, Holy Shock, and Hammer of Wrath on the kill target when you can spare the globals.
In my opinion, yes. It smooths out the rotation when you're low on Holy Shock charges, procs Sun Sear which gives more An'she procs (big Holy Shocks), and improves mana efficiency. I still recommend the stat prio in my guide: ~30% vers > 20-30% crit > mastery > haste. Following the gearing plan in the written guide will get you a nice balance of stats for excellent throughput, rotational ease, and mana longevity.
Yoo ! I juste see u on Reddit , and I come here , beacause i know u can say me how to play an Hpal with lot of damage to heal ?? Im a new Hpal and I see someone who play Like that Thank u for ur time

Lingering Radiance instead of Blessing of An'she. And finally playing with Boundless Salvation. Besides talents, using ONLY Flash of Light and NEVER Holy Light.
In my opinion, you need to have 20-30% crit to play the caster-style holy paladin in PVP effectively. After that, just get as much haste as you're comfortable with (I like around 8%), and then start stacking mastery. You will see other paladins playing with different stats for different builds (e.g. haste is good for melee wings). Out of curiosity, I went all in on mastery on an alt, and it doesn't feel that bad to play, either. So if you invested in mastery early on, I think you're fine.
