Great presentation but it's misleading. You described the ingredients in such a way that an average person would think that Maggi is packed with harmful chemicals, which is not the case. 1. It was a belief that it increases sodium levels in blood dramatically which would be bad for the heart but recent studies and researches have shown that it does no more harm than your common salt. Which means it is also as much safe to consume as is common salt. 3. Raising agent 500- which is nothing but a fancy name for baking soda. And most of us know how common is it to use baking soda in cooking. Used in almost every household whether you're baking cakes or making dhoklas and instant uttapam. 4. Guar gum- it is a natural product obtained from guar beans or cluster beans. Very beneficial for gut health as it's high in fibre, even reduces blood sugar. So basically it's a healthy alternative of corn starch. Maggi is surely not the healthiest thing but it's not as bad as you are portraying it to be.
