Same!
+beautygirl445 I feel you!
Joana Ramacciotti that was me with Alligeant 😂 and I read THE scene at the start of an 8 hour flight. I was wrecked 😂😂😂
SAME
omg the book thief. i have never sobbed so much before in my life reaading a book
ik I read book thief and I cried so much near the end of the book, it was sooo sad.
I cried so much reading All The Bright Places by Jennifer Niven
Taylor Cahall ME TOO!!!
Taylor Cahall same!
I just started reading it. But I never cried for a book so I probably won't cry
@@Nina-gg2be i can bet my ass you cried
@@soumilimitra9565 I know I cried.
The Deathly Hallows. Only one. Ever. Not even because of the things that happened, just because I'd marathoned the series and then it was just over and I didn't know what to do with my life anymore (I feel like we've all been there).
I experienced this last summer. Yup. I was dying inside
Same same same I finished it during my first hour class in 7th grade and I vividly remember closing the book slowly and sobbing.
I feel you. 😢
+Anna Mangnus I left this unfinished for a bit. I couldn't get myself to finish it because of the magnitude of having it end. Once I finally did finish it, I sobbed. It was like losing a friend.
Same
I swear Allegiant messed with my existence!! I was screaming, crying and doing crazy stuff the whole night!
meeee 2!!!
Omg same!!
"My Edward-less cave of sadness." I cackled. That was me.
thenormalstate Omg yas!
I don't usually cry, my eyes only water a bit and that's all. But there's one book where I actually cried and it's The Little Prince. I still think it's very sad, I've read it in elementary school and I want to reread it.
Is it that good? I got it on my tbr list for this year's books I have to read for school.
Janja Kukec I liked it quite a lot but it's weird. It's a children's tale but it's also very philosophical. It's also quite slow. I don't think it's for everyone but I enjoyed it.
Where are you from if you don't mind me asking?
I'm from Croatia. Why?
I'm from Slovenia. :) I thought you might be slavic from your name.
+404-equivalent omg yes!! My mom read it and was crying then i read it and we cried together. #bondingmoments
I'm not a book crier, but I cried BUCKETS reading Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare. it was just so beautiful and sad and perfect and tragic and i love it so much but the FEELS. THE FEELS
oh my lord SAME. I read it till the early hours nonstop and when I got to the ending I cried oceans like same
I still haven't finished the series because of spoilers 😔 Should I? I love the Mortal Instruments series to death and gone through the wringer of feels with it 😂
+Lindsey Peicott you should!! it sure sucks getting spoiled but i'm sure the superb writing and the feels you would get could make up for it!!
+Maria Theresa Largo thanks for replying! Yeah, I'm extremely mad that I got spoiled. Like it's just NOT FAIR! UGH! Hopefully I'll get to reading it soon! ;)
Kyndra Lei Yunting I cried so much! I was sobbing! I just loved all the characters soooo much 😭😭😭😭
I cried when Bella hugged Jacob and Edwards soft velvet voice said be happy
I love Edward Cullen
Just listening to you talk about Allegiant has brought tears to my eyes. Two years later and I'm still not over it.
I don't cry very often but MOCKINGJAY. Oh god..
me 2....
Yep
+athousandlives there was actual physical pain in my chest when i was done, no tears but my heart was unsettled.
I swear!!!! Major f my life moments
i didn't cry, but when a certain character (not the most famous death of mockingjay) died, it was one in the morning and i stopped reading and just thought about life
I've never cried for a book, EXCEPT for allegiant. And when I tell you I cried, I CRIED. literally for 4 hours. Nonstop. Not even exaggerating.
I have never cried more than when i read The Deathly Hallows. I cried of happiness when I finally got the book, I cried when I was reading it, I cried more and more and then I cried when I had to return it. THEN I cried when I realised that I had no more Harry Potter books to read.
...those were the days
the deathly hallows is like #1 for me
+Eliza Pancakes ELIZA PANCAKES
+Eliza Pancakes STOP STALKING PEOPLE
ELIZA YOU BETTER NOT BE STALKING DIL AGAIN
ELIZA LEAVE
ERMAHGERD ELIZA!!!! How is Bob doing?
I don't cry at book's. The only books that's made me cry, like tears falling is The Fault In Our Stars. Sounds cliché and all that, but having lost a loved one to cancer I was literally reliving the worst years of my life in that book and it destroyed me. The feels flooded back during the movie as well.
Cece Cheung i relate to this so much omg
Cece Cheung can I ask why you pushed through if it made you feel so horrible?
I am NOT emotional but the end of book thief I just couldn't stop, however it was a amazing book and I suggest it!
LC channel omg the part when leisel met max while they were taking him to concentration camp that scene just literally broke my heart
A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness. I was not okay.
Yeah i cried like a baby too. It was just so sad
mshannah1832 I share your pain
It's my favourite book of all time
Both Clockwork Prince and Clockwork Princess destroyed me, but Clockwork Princess was worst. I cried when I read, like, the last 100 pages. NON-STOP, not kidding. As Tessa said in Clockwork Angel: "One must always be careful of books and what's inside them, for words have the power to change us." Yes, they absolutely do.
The Death Cure made me sob. I'm still not over it...
Sammmmmee heerrreeeeeeee
Allegiant made me SOB. I usually don't full on cry when I read. I just tear up and sometimes I would shed a few tears but Allegiant...
Oh Jesus, that Clockwork Princess Epilogue tho..KILLED. ME. Couldn't stop thinking about it and breaking down privately for days after that😭💔
siomara ortiz what was the epilogue
It would spoil everyone if I said it, just read the trilogy for yourself and then you'll know :)
"I'll give you the sun" and "The sky is everywhere" both by Jandy Nelson made me cry so hard.
Clockwork Princess made me cry sooooo hard. I still cry, no matter how hard I try, at the epilogue.
When I read Allegiant I couldn't believe the ending, another good book that will make you cry is My Sisters Keeper by Jodi Picoult
Clockwork Prince, Clockwork Princess, TFIOS, The Deathly Hollows, Allegiant etc. etc. SO MANY BOOKS!
Clockwork Princess.... That book had me in tears and by the Epilogue I was just thinking WHAT IS LIFE?
The book that made me cry the most was City Of Heavenly Fire, I know it wasn't on your list but you don't know how much I cried at the end of the book!
i had the same experience when i re read it ill probably end up crying again! my fave character....😭
Alix Cudmore I KNOWWW!!!!
i've never sobbed more then i have after every time i read the book thief
The Book of Lost Things, Deathly Hallows, the Fault in Our Stars, The Book Thief, and The Perks of Being a Wallflower all made me cry like a baby. Especially Deathly Hallows. I don't think I've ever cried so hard at a book.
I cry at all the books I read too! Finally, my soulmate
The book thief made my cry so much
What about The Fault in Our Stars?
I guess she didn't read that or she definitely would have mentioned it
The Fault In Our Stars, The Dark Tower series, Adultery and The Sculptor are books that really had my crying! And I'll Give You The Sun 😢
"i'm sorry i got so sassy in there"
hahahh love your videos so much! and yes on clockwork princess and allegiant *tears forever*
I was reading the end of Allegiant when I was at school and I just remember sobing and all my friends were like, "What's going on"
Summer Sisters, All the Bright Places, Every Last Word, the Mockingjay epilogue all made me sob uncontrollably. The thing you need to know about me is I don't cry. I just don't. I'm not heartless or anything but I feel like I almost physically can't cry. The only things that have ever made me really cry are certain books.
Omg!!! Yes, New Moon made me cry like a baby and I switched to team Jacob just for little while until Edward explained himself.
I always stayed on team edward bcoz I knew he would come back someday or the other....for some reason i never really liked Jacob...he was always so rash with Bella unlike Edward...he literally tried to *force* her to leave Edward even though he knew she was happy with him...only at the end of Breaking Dawn when he imprinted on Renesmee and left Bella alone did I start to like him
Definitely Allegiant. I was on vacation visiting a friend and was reading her copy because mine had been ordered and shipped to my house. And I was bawling. A blubbering bawling mess.
Looking for Alaska. My heart was broken in 1938738201 pieces :'(
I've never cried over a book until I read Looking for Alaska
Omg that book was filled with so much angst. I loved it but still. Not a book to read if you're big on happy endings
Babette le Febre My dad thought I was crazy since I was reading it in the car when the incident happened and I just started balling my eyes out.
i really wished i had ur emotions because i remember reading most of these books and not crying and now i feel like an emotionless robot.... ive only ever cried in ONE book, ONE!!!! and that was Clockworck princess but besides that im basically a cold hearted emotionless machine
I love this channel My name is Zoey I love books My life revolves around books I cried over Deathly Hallows FOR A MONTH
no book has made me cry the way me before you did! 😭😭
Where the red fern grows.
Adam Ziggy omgg yes!!! That was the first book that ever made me cry!!! I was reading it in 5th grade with the rest of my class and just began sobbing and everybody else was looking at me like I was a crazy person... they ended up bringing me a box of Kleenex.. I was destroyed inside
Haha I know the feels. I just cuddle my dog and cry lol. :)
I'm totally obsessed with twilight, too
I still am
I shed a tear on love letters to the dead we were liars, and eleanor & park. it was soooo good 💓💕
CLOCKWORK PRINCESS. OH GOD. I can feel the heronstairs love! And especially that epilogue. THAT EPILOGUE. I bawled and cried and had a book hangover for months!
Most recently (a.k.a yesterday) book that made me cry is The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman. The ending was so sad!!
Fault in our stars, the ending.😭😭 I was a mess I start crying in the middle of English class. And my teacher looked over at me and am just like look away.
MaddieRose I don’t think I ever cried so much but that book I ugly cried it was so sad
That was one of the very few books that literally made me cry harder than i ever have and I also went into depression for the rest of the week...i only recovered when my mom gifted me South Of Sunshine to cheer me up...even now whenever i think about Augustus I feel like the world is collapsing around me its so sad
Yesssssssssssssss!!!!!!!!!! I feel you! I cried my way through new moon!!!!!!!! When Edward says "It will be as if I never existed" that's got me so hard!!!! And then when Bella says her whole line about following him into the woods and then at the end she says " Love, life, meaning, over just ahhhhhh that got me so hard to! Lol sorry I kind of just went fangirl on you
The death cure is another cry worthy book
Ashley Backstroker i was just about to say that. I'm still not over it.
I was pretty disappointed with death cure
Me either i think i sobbed for about a month after....well no i still cry about it to this day
@@sisterkosho9319 Sammmeee heerrreeeee
@@hualian_wangxian5061 Meeee tooooooooooo
I've never sobbed at a book before but a little tear.
Such as HP and the goblet of fire - after the whole Voldemort event and the cup, when Dumbledore gives that speech ''Remember....''- nope, cry every time.
HP and the deathly hallows - when Lupin announces Tonk's pregnancy etc -
Anna and the French Kiss - all of the scenes-
The Raven Cycle - Adam ): -
I cried so hard while reading Allegiant.
same
Samesamesame
same sadly i was in school and i literally had a mental breakdown in the middle of english class but thank god the teacher and most of my friends had already read the book so they understood
hello taehyung
sungyeol's megan ;; hii!
You know what makes me wanna cry?
The way she ordered her Heroes of Olympus books
Half Lost made me cry so much and I think I'll never get over it.
I loved this video. You have a way of telling how you read the books and how the emotions hit you. It's like we were there with you.
Great video!
oh my goodness. clockwork princess made me bawl basically throughout the entire book ESPECIALLY THAT EPILOGUE. LIKE EPILOGUES ARENT SUPPOSED TO MAKE YOU SAD THEYRE SUPPOSED TO WRAP THINGS UP AND MAKE IT BITTERSWEET AT MOST.
nope nope. i bawled like a baby.
another book that made me bawl was all the bright places. my god. I can't even think about that book without feeling sad
The Fault in Our Stars was the first standalone that I ever cried at. After finishing the Deathly Hollows for the first time, it took me a while to actually start crying over it. I spent a few days with this hollow (hehe) feeling because I had to go through the process of realizing that the series I spent my entire childhood reading was actually finished. Then I started bawling like a baby.
I am with you on New Moon.. I literally bawled through the months in New Moon. I turned those pages SO slowly.
ME BEFORE YOU! Honestly heartbroken and will be forever!
I loved listening to your experiences!! I had the exact same experience with Allegiant, I got it the same day it came out so I was completely blindsided on the ending. I threw the book across the room, and cried for about 20 minutes, then went downstairs and lied on the floor where my family was watching a movie. They all had no idea what was going on with me, but I was hugging the book super hard and moaning about how mean Veronica Roth was.
Oh I don't mind you being sassy, I love how you expressed your opinions in that way, you looked super tough tbh. We need more sassy Zoe. ❤
Every single Harry Potter book. Re-reading the series makes me so nostalgic. I recently re-read Order of the Phoenix, cried big time 8 times for instance when Ron and Hermione are doing their Prefect duty and Hermione yells "First year's, this way"... It made me so proud, I cried. lol
"New Moon" I feel you ..... those pages 😭
All the Bright Places. That book tore me up for DAYS
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix was the first book to make me cry. I was 15, and when Sirius died, I was devastated. I was laying on the couch, sobbing, and my sister and my mother were laughing at me. I read Mockingjay when I was pregnant with my son, and when I got to the part where Katniss yells at the cat about Prim, I lost it. I had a complete nervous breakdown and cried for hours. My husband thought I was insane.
The Epi of Clockwork Princess .. oh my the feels and the tears 😭 ❤
I cried for over an hour straight when I finished Clockwork Princess. I thought that Will would die in the book, so I was crying about that, then when I thought Henry died, when Jessamine died, and happy crying when Will proposed. Probably the most I'll ever cry over a book, and ever since, I'm a book crier.
harry potter and the order of the phoenix is the only book i’ve cried from and i was absolutely sobbing. sirius was my favourite character ever since he was introduced in the prisoner of azkaban, and after he died i just didn’t even want to continue the series. (of course i did finish the series and i have since read the whole thing 7 times, and i loved it, but i definitely had to take a break between ootp and hbp)
I don't cry normally, but I was falling apart and crying so much inside and a tear fell from my eyes when I finished Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe. This book was legit the best one, such a pure love wow.
Definitely Allegiant! I was traumatized after the whole reading experience. It took weeks before I moved on. Really. Ugly tears and shattered heart.
Allegiant killed me.... KILLED ME!!!! I was so mad/so sad.
I loved the sass! I had the same exact reaction you did to allegiant, book throwing and all. The book I cried the most while and after reading is The Book Thief. I cried many ugly tears while reading the book and I cried again watching the movie. Best book I've ever read. :)
i have NEVER, not once in my entire life cried at a book like i cried while reading all the light we cannot see. it started with happy tears and then slowly turned to ugly, angry, sad, heartbroken, my life has just been destroyed tears. fuck man its been months since reading it and just thinking about it still tears me up
I'm so happy I found your channel! I'm trying to read more instead of looking on my phone for entertainment haha! I've taken note of a few of your recommendations and look forward to reading them! It's awesome to see a young girl encourageing reading instead of talking about how to lose weight or look pretty. Keep doing what you do girly!
Everything you said about Clockwork Princess is soooo true! Also I'm glad to see I wasn't the only one in denial when reading Allegiant! When it happend I just throw the book on my bed and stared devastated the wall for maybe 10 minutes. Than I re-read the chapter 3 more times! After that the sobbing was non-stop to the end of the book
All The Bright Places made me sob through the entire end of the book. It was the hardest I think I've cried while reading a book. I also had quite a bit of makeup on and I remember I had mascara all the way down to my chin... It was that bad.
Bridge to Terabithia. I read this as a kid and it had me paralyzed. I couldn't think clearly anymore because I would have never imagined such a beautiful story ending the way it did
I cry at the end of pretty much every book series that I read solely because I always feel empty after finishing a series and I just want to read it all over again!
I cried the most (like pacing and sobbing and unintelligable mumbling) for the 3rd book in His Dark Materials series, The Amber Spyglass by Philip Pullman. That ending wrecked me. My other cry-worthy books are Allegiant, All the Bright Places and Gregor and the Code of Claw (final book in the Underland series).
Allegiant
The fault in our stars
Breaking dawn (happy tears)
New Moon (happy tears, when Edward asked Bella the big thing )
The Death Cure
Mockingjay
I think I have cried the most with Me Before You. Is such an beautiful and sad story !
I can't believe you didn't cry with Stolen! I first heard about it in your channel and I'm so glad I did, one of my favorite books. I couldn't stop crying, it was heartbreaking. Thank you for introducing me to this fantastic book! Greetings from Mexico
Of Mice and Men makes me shed tears just remembering the ending. The story just brakes my heart everytime and im not really a book cryer.
The last book I really cried at was Aristotle and Dante but those tears were both happy and sad. Out of your list I definitely agree with If I Stay and Clockwork Princess, but The Heir and Goodnight Mister Tom are two other books that really got me.
Believe it or not, an audio book actually made me cry. It was "Wicked Reckless" by Ginger Scott. I was crying for the main character because her family is crap, her situation is crap, her friends are crap, then I'm crying for the boy she likes because his family is crap, his reputation is crap, his future seems like crap. I was also crying because I realized I would never have this amazing emotional high school relationship like they have. Seriously. An audio book. I can't even IMAGINE what it would have been like had I owned the paper book and been able to binge read at my own pace.
the book that made me cry the hardest is probably shadow kiss by richelle mead.
it was like a month after i read (and reread a thousand times) the first two books of the series and i was so attached to the characters and the ending just made me cry.
and so did the rest of the series. i mean everything went downhills after frostbite.
death cure [you know, that one scene we will *not* talk about] mADE ME BAWL
aina
This is old but.
"Please, Tommy. Please."
Newt😭😭😭
Page 250. I am sorry
😭😭😭😭😭😭
The whole PJO series made me cry... Happy tears and very sad tears
I never cry when reading a book. never. it was rare for me. but then I read the selection series. I cry at every sad book since. thank you Kiera Cass for making me soft
i cried for three hours straight after reading allegiant, like i genuinely could not believe what was happening in that book and whenever i think about it, my heart aches a little
The Fault in our Stars was the first book to make me choke up, then Beautiful Chaos and Clockwork Princess of happy tears.
AND THE SONG OF ACHILLES
I never cry with books, i think i've only cried in about 4 books, but when i read If I Stay i literally balled my eyes out. The fact that the story is so real and possible just got to me, and being in Mia's shoes was the worst/best😭 And of course i cried during the epilogue of Clockwork Princess😭😭😭
Thank you for showing me it's okay to cry while reading haha! I cry way too often and sometimes after I finish something particularly sad/intense I deliberately pick up books that I know won't make me cry so I can recover... People I know usually don't have that problem haha! The books that made me cry the most were Harry Potter (book 4 and up), Hunger Games (all of them, I can't choose!), The Perks of Being a Wallflower (so. much!), Vampire Academy series (and I still have the last book left!). Twilight series (all of them but as I've always been a fan of Jacob I cried myself to sleep when I finished Breaking Dawn at the early morning hours a few years ago!), Anna and the French Kiss (because it was sooo beautiful!) and The Inheritance series (mainly the last book).
I love ur hair :)
And I have books that I get to the end and I'm like wow no
I tend to cry over every book, happy or sad or angry or beautiful.
I loved the Clockwork Princess! I was a bit sad in the end but no I didn't cry here. The first book that ever made me cry was funnily enough Robin Hood. Up to then I was reading only books of happy endings and here was someone I grew attached to and had died! How could they?
A man called ove and The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants made me cry the most!
I cried after reading Allegiant too ..who else are in love with Tobias?
Rose Blue Me I wish the books ended differently it broke me down
If you haven't read Moon At Nine yet, I really recommend it! It made me cry at the end. Like I was LITERALLY sobbing
