Did you have this skid plate on when you had the OEM tires? The ones you have on now look a bit beefier than OEM. I was just curious because I was going to buy this, but now I'm having second thoughts. My tires are the ones that came with the bike though.
do you think the other frame mounted plates have the same potential problem of rubbing? Is there something different about the T-Rex plate from others in this regard. Have a 23 CB500X and looking to buy a plate but sure don't want to have to modify it like you did...

OEM tires hit also. Same outside diameter.

Rally raid doesn't rub, but it doesn't protect the head pipes and you can't use a center stand with it.
