this Oregon trail update is bad ass
Aww they turned it into an edgier Oregon Trail.
i mean, im kinda happy theyre trying to change shit
@@thesecondeevee9754 I actually prefer DD2 to DD1. The changes to balance and characters makes using different set ups not a meme most of the time. Also the game changed for the roadtrip style. The first was a slow methodical dungeon crawler complimented by your safe haven in the Hamlet. While this is a fast pace roadtrip to horrors and the gameplay mirrors this with you wanting to be on the offensive more.
@@ehoffart529 exactly, i dont know if ill ever have a chance to play dd2, but im glad they havent gone the route of "sequel is exactly like the first game"
And that’s exactly what I like about it lol
"Why are people saying 100% crit chance is good?" lol
Well knowing the previous game, I'd assume 100% means nothing as the game has a forced rng system throws consistently out of the window
@@bruhder5854 This time around 100% crit chance is 100% and it gives a -20% resist to whatever debuff/dot the attack is applying.
@@thorinhannahs4614 oh what else is actually 100% this time around? I really hated how the previous game used forced rng to overrule 100%
@@bruhder5854 Flagellant will always go toxic instead of resolute or meltdown when he reaches max stress and it is always beneficial given his kit. Those are the simple things I can think of.
@@bruhder5854 wdym? 100% is 100%? what is "forced rng"? lmao
also pretty much anything is "100%". The chances written are exactly what you get. Blind means half the time youll hit, block removes exactly half the damage, crit means crit. The only "hidden numbers" are native crit chance... and honestly I think that might be it. The rest is spelled out for you.
2:34:00 3/4 get disrespected by Spidey boys
cant wait for the charlie and Critikal colab stream
Bro that creature den encounter was fucking heartbreaking haha nothing worked :D
Bro care so little about a game that isn't FPS that we can't even see the characters healthbars or status effects, it takes two seconds to find a new place for the web cam to be unobtrusive but it says right in the fps zone.
how has no one told him that his portait is covering his party.
Yeah that was annoying and a easy fix
charlie only weakness is.....not reading :))
Ermmm, can someone tell me what @@thanhnguyen-ht2zv has said? Thanks!
and ramming his damn wagon over and over into shid because hes not paying attention then he whines that his run is over im like BRUH you literally trolled yourself.
@@HookahOtaku you gain loot by running into stuff..😂 your wagon breaks if u pick patches with bad roads or ambushes to lower the armor or wheels
I just started playing Black Reliquary and then this comes out
1:42:42 is when he first uses Defender.
Woah I didn’t think I would get to see Charlie play a game I just bought
15:00 im convinced charlie doesn't know how to read lmao
yea but to be fair descriptions of abilities being "apply to self: skull emoji when dog emoji +2, -1 smiling face, +15% toilet (3 turns)" is kinda confusing no? I assume the developers didn't want to make yugioh card descriptions so this does require some time to memorize the symbols.
it was when 💀 +50 crit chance lmao
@@abysmalist4761 cut him some slack, English wasn’t around when Jesus was born
@@hehe-tw6jl truuu
@@hehe-tw6jl "apply to self: skull emoji when dog emoji +2, -1 smiling face, +15% toilet (3 turns)" lmao can u make this mod? lets go absolutely buck wild on the token system ^^
Pretty good for a first time playing ever since Collage, hopefully he'll figure out the meta as he goes along
Damn, Audrey CARRIED against those cultists.
"Came out today"
..what have I been playing?
Man. It is a rough road to watch Charlie gettin' good at DD2.
Edit: He actually dismissed the value of Take Aim, my guyyyyyyyyy. 😂
These dungeons are even darker than the first.
The first one was great. Wll try this one soon...
Frustrating to see Charlie having all the skills and items to answer every problem but choose not to use them which ends results to he's early downfalls but not gonna lie he really cooked during the Librian fight, not an easy boss to take down but he actually did first time too.
the camera placement is driving me fucking insane lol
Honestly I don't like darkest dungeon 2.... I preferred the first one because i loved the town management and stuff. This one is more of a rogue like.
tbh I just love the Darksiders 2 reference, didn't know anyone else knew of those game's existence xd
Really like this, it's a bit of a departure, but I'll enjoy it as a spin-off. Hoping they return to dungeon delving in the next game. :/
I didn’t know charlie played Darkest dungeon 2
Should of brought back Professor Sad to come spread all his sadness and his ass for us
Charlie should have named his character Professor Sad from the previous game i want to know what happened to him
Professor Sad home is the darkness where he was born
Proud moist charle clips fam!!
I am so happy it is finally out on steam, but I can't afford it now :(
5 hours lets goo, also darksst dungeon 1 is true suffering
5 hours of potential belching, lets go!
oh deadass? i didn't think he'd be the type to play dd1 and dd2
me too man, but damn im happy
2:07:30
oh, you sweet, sweet summer child...
Does charlie have another monitor ABOVE his regular one?
Yes. I have the same
Kinda crazy this popped up on my feed as i hear about the first yesterday.
cant help but quote this " wow she's a better tank than he is" yea i wonder why lmao i havent watched the other stream yet but hopefully he got the try out the chaplain class for junia (Vestal).
My God he's stupid...
"Eughhg stress so high...so much dodge..."
>Actively ignores skills that allow him to counter those issues
Let the man play...
Personally I prefer the 2d style of the first game
I did as well, but the 3D grew on me quickly. Most of the time I forget it's even 3D thanks to the textures and shading making the characters still look like drawings.
I think I might as well, but I loooooooove the skill animations and that more than makes up for it for me personally
Hopefully this will be on PS5 soon. 😢
I know we won't get a Switch port for awhile but that was my preferred way to play DD1 since I could boot up my game anywhere and watch my characters have mental breakdowns.
I've experience so much emotion watching this...
and most of it is frustration watching a new player learn the game XD
so many bad choices ;-;
Kinda like the first games art better.
Overconfidence is a slow and incidious killer...
I would say is way easier than the first game.
2:17:00 I am so fucking jealous of those quirks what kind of jesus christ of luck blessing bullshit is that
Is this a 3d 2d game?
Broooo use the damnnnn milk and healing herbs!
I aint trynna be that guy but you can clearly see he miss uses a lot of abilities and items, most of the times he does stuff without realizing he did it and ask what happened, its like he is either just not aware or just clearly wants to lose, either way it was fun to see him play but cmon man its like he complains but doesnt realize that most of the times he was the one causing himself to lose
