Being a native Kenyan, these videos of black Americans relocating here just warm my heart. I've lived here my entire life and even though we have our problems, it's really amazing to see how much people appreciate what we have here. Back in the day, we were known mostly as a tourist destination but in recent years, people are actually really excited to make Kenya a home. Politics and everything else aside, Kenya is truly turning out to be a great place. Let's learn to appreciate what we have a keep improving where things are not quite right.
The exodus is just getting started. 30 million African Americans are supposed to cross over to the motherland. Another 70 million from the Caribbean and South America. There's a ton of work to do.
Adilah, you did the damn thing! I can only imagine how patient you have to be to micro manage contractors, select furniture, appliances, and the like. Great job!
@TheResidentialTourists this micromanagement is the right way. Otherwise, you will be scammed by human nature. Trust no one especiallly where you've put your hard earned money. But enjoy what the country has to offer.
Am going to say this! I moved from Kenya to the USA and 25 years latter am here wishing I was y’all in the Mather land living the life! Moving to Kenya was a power move on your part and it’s paid off!
So happy that this Brother was lead by the most high lead him to look at your channel and I pray many more that hears the call will follow, beautiful apartment
Greetings The Residential Tourists, “The Muhammad’s”! Thank you both so much for sharing and I look forward to your next episode.
I love love love what you have done with that apartment especially the kitchen. Though i think a floating tv stand would have been nicer and the t.v cables trunked it is neater.
Wow madam you really transformed that space. I have to commmend you for your artistic qualities. Amazing gift you have. Capitalise on it and help may more. Love it❤
O Wow like your new channel Love how 😅you showed the three bedroom apartment you put together for the family coming from the USA with every room of African art I really would like to visit Kenya and use your Service
Hello Residential Tourist, a job well done. I watch most of your videos. You inspire us. In my language you would be given the name Dibaza. Meaning the one who returned them. That is the sisters and brothers back to the continent. Thank you for the videos.
In your interviews, please talk about what qualifications and careers your interviewees possess because us Kenyans love intellectual interactions too. We have some of the best meet and greets too.. Splendid job.
@@emeliathompson3453 Ooh yes, all banks do have financing options. You can even get off plan offers in which you pay a certain percentage and the rest in monthly installments until your house or apartment is ready. It's cheaper too, compared to when they finish and put the units in the market.
There are building that ask for deposit as initial payment , which is about 30 % then pay off the rest in 6 months without interest, this kind of finance is available with the developer
@@emeliathompson3453 you can apply for a mortgage if you have verifiable income. A nice 3 bedrooms apartment in a nice gated community in Nairobi can go for about & $30,000/-

“This black American “ what does that mean? Why is he not just American like everyone else in the world that comes from a country? Jamaican, Ethiopian, Russian? Whats the point of inserting BLACK while speaking to an African audience? Obviously his physical features portray his Africa origins.
@ of course not, but your audience is African and you still feel the need while in Africa to call people Black when it’s evident judging by their physical features that they are black.
