Great job Mr. Finn. Excellent!!! I really really appreciate the fact that you had the engine out so we can clearly see what is being done. However, that's a bit unfortunate for those who intend to do the work themselves with the engine still in the car. I only needed to see the process, see what a crack in the manifold would look like, and how difficult the job is for mechanics. Keep making videos Mr. Finn.

It looks only easy. I have done it on my M6 2011 by myself. I had to work from the top and bottom. It is very limited space between intake and radiator. Also access to the bolts is very bed. It took much longer then expected. Btw. valves and intake were very dirty full of deposits and it took also a lot of time to get it cleaned with wood dust. Regards

Still an excellent engine though. It could do 400,000km easily. Most common problem is oil leaks past the valve cover gasket.

How did you remove the transmission without removing the manifold and the starter first. It has 4 bolds for the converter wheel
