I watch many of your videos, but didn't know it was the same person behind all those really well realized videos. Thanks for your advices and please continue to help me to increase!
Thank you so much for that comment. It warms my heart! I didn't have a lot of time doing new videos but I made one today. Hopefully you enjoy that one as well as the others ^^
>keeps saying "one shotting" >Keeps talking about how many hits it will take. My dude, that's not one-shotting, that's focus fire. It's been a strategy since RTS were invented that allowed you to so gle out units. Great strategy, but don't call it "one-shotting"
@@herewego8093 because its not aoe, the game doesn't even play the same as aoe. This game is almost hardly about the combat at all, its incomparable. I have introduced aoe players to northgard who then had no idea how to play, if the game were so similar, they should immediately be able to pick it up, not to mention if the combat were so "basic", it should be a piece of cake for an aoe player. Oh but wait, its almost like its an entirely different game or something and aoe already exists so you could just play that instead. Is it really basic or is it just using different mechanics to achieve a different type of game?
@@cagxplays9602 the game is actually an upgrade as it features many things new as food, wood sustain, etc AOE players never have to worry about how to sustain, as well as map doesn't hazard. Despite these mechanics, we are talking about combat and I think it is really fair to say this type of combat is really easy, doesn't require many micro, AOE players, if fail, is at how to maintain economy
@@herewego8093 while I do admit that saying the overall combat is easy to learn and manage, the rest of your point is really where it stands. Making the combat more complicated, takes away from what the core concept has to offer. It's not a fighting game, so it feels weird to call it basic when there shouldn't be a more complicated version, because that would be a different game entirely.
Love the statistics and math behind it. Makes it feel like a science video
Haha to understand the reasoning behind why something works is pretty cool yeah
