The question is, do we grind it up and turn it into something like mortar and use whole jawbreakers as the rocks. Or do we flat out melt them down and pour it into a mold?

You should make a challenge of breaking through walls made of materials that define the life of the person. Trent gets weightlifting stuff, Eric gets thrifted clothes, Dustin gets abandoned airport luggage. The weapons used also must come from the respective category.
With the drywall one you've could've made a deep outline of that rectangle and made another deep line going down in the middle of it and kick/punch/hit it open cause drywall is the easiest thing to break open 🙃
