- It's embarkation day on the Sky Princess! I haven't been on a Princess ship in over three years, and it's John's first time ever sailing with them. We had a fun day exploring the ship, having dinner, figuring out our plans for the coming week, and meeting Don and Tony! See you tomorrow in Princess Cay for more fun and less talk!

I'm looking forward to this trip with you guys......Because of my experience with the Ruby Princess I decided to hold off on any Princess cruises.......

Wow! Those appetizers you bought were lame. I agree with you, Hey Princess!! Quit being so stingy with something I paid for. The cabin looks nice. I didn't make dinner reservations and it worked out really well. We would usually go down between 5 and 5:15 pm. Once we ate later at 6:15 pm because we decided to go to the later production show. A little wait but nothing too bad, about 10 minutes. This was on the Emerald Princess this month. Thanks for sharing!

Yea....I miss traditional dining a bit. It wasn't an option last year on Discovery Princess. Had an amazing trip, but there was a part of me that missed the old days. Having the same wait staff and getting to know your dining companions.... even the wait staff dancing and singing at the end of the meal...it was all a unique cruise experience. Makes me a bit nostalgic. 😍
The good old days! I wish they would find a way to bring back traditional dining.
Why are you complaining about not being able to find take 5? Theres an easy to use deck plan on the app and interactive screens around the ship
We found the deck plan on the app later in the day, although asking a crew member should also be an option.

1. I hope to try Celebrity. I was supposed to in '21, but it got cancelled due to shutdown. But I did try Princess in Jun '22 and liked it.
2. I'm Team Android for life
3. I feel your frustration with the tight quarters in the MDR. Some people are bound & determined to have what I call the dinner experience-striking up conversation with whomever is next to you.
They need more than one hour for dining. Better to make 6:30 rather than 6:00 etc. 1-1/2 hour between
you 2 make a lovely couiple
Nice to see you back on Princess! That was some BS with them saying to just dump your bag in Take Five. No thanks! Also why the heck was that Long Island Iced Tea served in what appeared to be a hurricane glass?
When you were still up here in Washington (not sure if I ever mentioned I'm there, lol, but definitely want to follow suit and flee to Texas or somewhere not an awful shade of blue😂), did you ever play Triple Fortune Dragon at the casino?
John was bothered by the hurricane glass too! I did play Triple Fortune Dragon some at Muckleshoot, that's a fun one! This cruise on Princess was a really nice return to the line, and long awaited as I had two other sailings on the Sky cancelled over the previous couple years.
