Honestly, I had been waiting on this sound/style to return from BP! The styling, the structure of the song, even line distribution, the visuals -- literally everything! I think I can give this song, after 3 listens about a 9-9.5/10, I am very content with this one and can certainly see myself listening to this in my car aha. yes this was honestly the one. Both the song and video for me are a perfect blend of the Black and Pink concepts that their name expresses. this line distro was great too I feel like everyone shined bright. I was always excited about the album but I cant lie I was anxious about it too. now I can't wait to listen but I'll wait till morning.

This is one of their best releases for me! David guetta jennie, and jisoo helped write this song which is amazing. A lot of people say this gives them avril lavigne vibes but also reminds them of girls just wanna have fun. The guy in the video is Loren a producer/guitarist in yg. He's really close to Rose. I absolutely love rose and jisoo's vocals.

ever since kill this love i've been keeping expectations low for BP; how you like that was okay, the lady gaga collab was alright (to be fair that wasn't their song), definitely wasn't a fan of ice cream. i've always loved them since debut but ever since they departed from the playing with fire/as if it's your last sound i've always kinda been let down but MAN. they blew this out of the water!! i love that we get an actual singing chorus and it brings me back to 2017 blackpink without feeling old or dated. definitely gives me avril lavigne, "end of a teen movie" type of feelings but in a really good way. can't wait to get to the album tbh
I feel the same way like i never got over how they changed up after playing with fire/as if its your last and ddu du ddu du was actually a good cb but it was all downhill after that for me and this seems to be better and they're slowly going back up. Hopefully it stays this way 💖💖

This song made me have faith back into BP. I’ve been listening out for a song that could change my perspective. Since KTL, I’ve fallen off from them, and they weren’t feeling genuine enough for me to become a fan again. But this time, I could actually feel good listening to the song and appreciate them again. I never hated the girls, and I never went out to bash and hate them, but I haven’t felt the same love for them that I used to back when AS If It’s Your Last was released. Anyway, I’m proud of them for finally improving their sound, and I intend to give the album a chance.

Behind all of them singing in front of the diner it says "Born die alone" in flashing neon lights. And in the water scene "Nothing" was behind her.
They really went all in on this set, more so than usual.

Daniel D. I think it’s because of the incorporation of guitar that makes it feels like taylor, especially the prechorus. Tho i feel avril vibe more than taylor.
I loved the song from the start and it goes so well with the MV, the sets, the outfits, the hairstyling, everything is beautiful. The choreo also looks fun and like something you can dance along to.

This was such a refreshing song to listen to after they released DDDD, KTL AND HYLT which all had the same structure; a build up then a dance break at the end.
