It must be horrific to be buried under so much concreate our prayers go out to the families involved many thanks to the many rescue workers and the Premier who has been on site many times to follow the progress
So few reporters and officials are sympathizing or offering condolences for the victims and their families. Are we losing our humanity? Thankfully this engineer still has a heart.
@@Claire11elliottmaybe you missed something because just yesterday, the minister of labour was on the scene and people on the ground are also using their data to comment sending condolences
Really incompetent Site inspections during building construction were ongoing. We as South Africa's don't need this tipe of disasters I just Pray to all victims and all people help evacuate the building rubble and get as many victims alive 🙏 😢
It is probably not pretty under that rubble. More accurate information can only be given to the family and community after the site has been cleared out all the way to the bottom. Are there no counsellors on site to explain this to the family and community??
If the Department of Labour had done their job then this tragedy could have been avoided. The collapse of this building is similar to the collapse of South Africa under the ANC Government who are too busy sticking their noses into other's conflicts (of which they have zero understanding) than to be concerned about the ineptitude of their own departments. This is an unfortunate tragedy, and we are all praying for those stuck in the rubble to be found alive, however we cannot excuse the ineptitude of those who are tasked to protect workers who do nothing. The Developers must sue the Government and hold the Minister of Labour criminally liable for this disaster. The ANC are an absolute disaster.
I have observed that buildings in SA are not strong compared to those bombed by Israel in Palestine(Gaza). They even remain intact after bombings!Something wrong with inspection in all departments in our country!Even homes not checked who is in the country legally or illegally!
