Tbf he had focused all his power in one finger to do that and Trunks only defeated frieza so easily because frieza wasn't at full power as Gohan points out in the manga. I think the gap between mecha frieza and trunks ssj wouldn't have been that big if frieza didn't let his rage blind him and actually fought Trunks at full power.
@@thestrong2401 I agree with everything you said in your statement. Had Frieza power up to his full power (and had his father done the same) they could have potentially defeated Trunks. Even with this, I was secretly hoping that we would have seen Frieza power up to his full power to fight Goku. Goku still would have won but it would have been nice to see a longer battle. This is still a great rendition of the story we never saw on screen.
This is what happened in Future Trunks' timeline.
Frieza and Goku have their final battle... Goku may have won the battle, but Frieza actually won the war...
In the end all of their dna and power was collected by Dr Geros computer and transferred to Cell.

Considering that King Cold is weaker than than the Ginyu Force, it shouldn't be a surprise.
Even Chaotzu could of beaten Cold with little effort by this point. Maybe even Puar.

It's not. This is supposed to be what happened in Trunks's timeline since there was no Trunks to take out Frieza. Which means that the androids will appear.
Yep. And this manga only covered the yadrat arc. So yeah, rest of the story will be the same.
But i would like an alternative timeline where goku actually tells bulma about what frieza said and maybe bulma would have gone to yadrat and collected some samples from either the atmosphere or maybe the yadrats as well. After that she tries to reverse engineer the virus and she succeeds in building the antidote. Hope mondo watches this comments and maybe tries to cover this part.

@@johnnygyro2295 technically there are canonically 3. Trunks, the one we see all the way to Super and the timeline where Cell comes from. If we go by simple theory there can be an infinite amount, as many as there are what ifs. Any different decision can be a branch in the timeline

@@Hei_Darkfire I tell you why people think that. In the original story the heart virus is completly unknown there is no medicine no cure. If there is a heart virus and a virus is something that can spread to other people then doctors would warn the world and at least bulma would know about it. But even she doesn`t know anything about that. It makes sense that goku got it on yadrat because he is the only one that was there and stayed for a year. I like the explanation this fan manga gives to us.
And the medicine was not easily made i bet that bulma took some samples from goku to study the virus to prevent something like this happening again.
Goku introduced a virus to earth that became so bad it csused a pandemic makeing a vaccine needed which lead to meds being made. Duh

Knew it, it was the story of Future Trunks' timeline, that's why he didn't show up. I did like Vegeta going into the false saiyan state from the Slug movie, this whole story had a shit ton of references and call backs, even if it also has plenty of typos.
we only know trunk's story and how gohan survived the androids in the future timeline. other than that i dont think we know anything about future goha's training, unlocking super saiyan, and his fights with the androids until his own death

The whole "yardrat is poisonous to non yardratians" was a nice touch and surprisingly well foreshadowed. I liked gohans design at the end too

I've said it before and I'll say it again, this blows Ultra Vegeto out of the water.
Uncle Vegeta always stepping in for Gohan man it’s tough love but it’s very consistent throughout the series.
This story doesn't really make sense, in the anime Goku clearly stated that he was able to teleport there before Frieza and his men started attacking his friends and family, so Goku would have made it there before this fight even began and before anyone was hurt
You should do one in the 6 months before the androids showed up and after the z fighters all died from the androids. What Gohan went through after they all died

Something I never understood is why they didn't take Goku to Bulma's while he had the heart virus. You can argue that she works with cybernetics and robots more than medicine....but Trunks came back to the past with the literal fucking cure that was made by her company.
I can imagine that Bulma's money, resources, and social status would allow her to provide Goku with the worlds best medical facilities to not only help him resist it but find a cure for it at the same time. But rather than even attempt to do this, I notice that each timeline of Goku getting this virus he is laid out on his bed in the middle of nowhere they call home. Its just like why?
This makes me want to make an alternate timeline what if where Bulma tries to save goku.
I mean, that's what happened. Trunks explains this. They did try to make a cure, but they only managed to make it after Goku has died, basically speaking, in the future. That's why Trunks managed to save Goku now.
@ninjahunterx7497 in my head what happened was Burma hooked him up to an iron lung and when that didn't work artificially stimulated his heart, and eventually replaced it with a robotic heart. Which worked perfectly except his arteries were too damaged and he had a stroke. That's how I see it going down
@@ninjahunterx7497 No, that isn't what happened. They didn't begin to make the cure until after Goku died. They also didn't have him stay with Bulma. You can see in Trunk's timeline Goku is at home with Chi Chi the entire time suffering on his bed.
At no point in any time line do they actually take him to Bulma's to get actual medical assistance. They just lay him out on a bed and hope he gets better on his own.

The little bit of worldbuilding to try say that the heart virus was from Yardrat isn’t very good considering Vegeta has been there and he should be suffering from the same thing.

Maybe Bulma used the heart virus medicine on Vegeta, which is how she knew the disease was both a virus and the medicine could work on Goku?
It’s awful given the facts from the Moro arc, and it was never stated he got it on Yardrat.

There's no logical reason why Vegeta didn't just let Krillen keep blasting him to near death and then eating a senzu bean over and over again. He would be stronger than Zeno in a week.
If I can recall, he tells trunks that he can just instant transmission. When he senses his friends and was about to do so. But that he didn't because he sensed trunks energy. He would have gotten there by instant transmission but this would have played much different

They know the dragon balls can't bring back anyone who died of natural causes so if they knew goku was going to die why didn't they just kill him before he took his last breath so he could then be revived and then healed

This is what happened in Future Trunks’ timeline. Goku instant transmissions to Earth and defeats Frieza and King Cold. He didn’t do it because Trunks so quickly disposes of them in the main timeline

the virus wasn't from Yardrat though; it had an antidote for it in the future given how prevalent it became, so it couldn't have originated from space.
It could if bulma is the one inventing the antidote by studing the virus from sample taken from goku.
@@christianv.8448 No, it was mentioned by Trunks that there were a lot of other victims of the virus. Knowing Goku, it was probably something he ate. Since we know it's not contagious via airborn or physical contact since no one around Goku got it and that there are other victims, the only conclusion is that it originated from earth.
Maybe still it is possible if Goku was patient zero. I don't think it was something he ate on earth. If then something on Yadrat. Because even though Goku eats everything I am pretty sure that most humans eat normal stuff in Dragonball too. So they wouldn't get the virus like that.
The fact they didn’t just use the dragon balls to cure goku is outstanding, I mean we see in dragon ball super that it can cure illnesses as we see when gohan used them to cure pan, so just do that for goku, goku likely took a few days to die with symptoms for a5 least a few days so they had the time

...Goku didn't get the heart virus on Yardrat. It's an earthly disease that had a cure made for it in the future which is why Bulma was able to give it to him in the past.

All we know for sure is that Goku had a virus and that Bulma in the future made a cure. Nobody besides Goku gets this cure, and the most sane answer to why the disease is never brought up again is because it was from Yardrat. The reason why Bulma made this cure was because she always intended on going back in time to save Goku. Even if Trunks defeated the Androids, Bulma would have still gone to cure Goku. There is nothing confirming or denying that there is "kryptonite" on Earth besides the fact that Dr. Gero doesn't use it.
The virus came to earth because Goku brought it there like the inconsiderate ass he is.

I know im going to Sound like a nerd but, this isnt that acurrate since Yamcha nor Krillin died meaning this battle couldve gone 2 ways either Goku felt Friezas ki aswell as Colds on Earth and Instant Transmissioned there or somehow the Z fighters held out
Nobody could sense King Cold's ki. It was too small to even notice. It was actually just Frieza's ki split in half because he was part cyborg.

It is 6 months before the androids kill everyone besides Gohan, Trunks, and the side characters.
Is it so hard to understand? This battle took place at the time where Trunks appeared in the main timeline. NOBODY died here. Son Goku died somewhere in the 3 years from then until the Androids attacked. The Androids then killed the other fighters.
would have been the most 1 sided rematch ever. goku was pretty much using 1 finger against trunks, and trunks destroyed frieza without sweating
