I believe I have watched every single paper-layering cardmaking video by you, and I love to watch them over and over. The more videos like this you make, the more I will watch.
I love the background paper that I use at 21:22 it look so bright. I like all the cards, is so easy to make them, that is hard to pick a favorite. You make great cards.
The cards were all fun cards. I liked how you made some masculine cards as well because I never think of doodle bug designs as masculine. I LOVE doodle bug though. Great job!!!!
Loved these cards! Thank you for showing how to make the most of our paper pads. It can become so overwhelming but your style and the way you simplify it makes much easier. Tfs
I love how you created the "large" paper by sticking two strips together (i do that a lot myself :) ) The Tiki (you make me smile), Catus (you make me smile), and the Sticker cards are my favorite! Thanks for sharing!
I am looking for ideas to make cards and your video has given me a lot of them,I do have the paper packs but not the same as you have but I am going to try to do the same thing. Thanks again and I hope you are still making cards.... Ellen from Wyoming
I love to watch your trial and error paper choosing! You should be able to vary your paper scrap sizes by cutting the 5 1/4 inch cut first on some and the 4 inch cut on others.
I am really enjoying these videos. I recently bought several Doodlebug paper pads and getting so much inspiration from you. Thanks so much for doing these videos. I can't wait to see the next one. -Margaret S.
I picked up a tip from a fellow You Tube Demonstrator that uses foam sheet to place behind the areas of her card she wanted raised. I've started doing it and it is a lot cheaper than using the foam tape. thanks for sharing your cards. They're really cute!
I've been doing that for large pieces when I have it in front of me so I remember to use it. At Dollar Tree you can get 32 4x6 or 5x7 sheets for $1. They are VERY thin but they are thick enough to tell that they are raised above everything else. It takes 3 or 4 to make a shaker card.
Am really enjoying these videos. Thanks for sharing your ideas and inspiring me to use some of the paper pads. It's nice to see how some of those papers can be used.
I was so happy to come across your video! I have this paper pad and loved seeing your different layouts and the way you layer and use as much of the paper as possible.
Hey girlie! You are some kind of amazing! I so enjoyed watching and listening to you create these cards. You did a fabulous job and I love that you take the time to create and donate your cards to kids, which makes you even more amazing in my eyes. Thanks for sharing and I look forward to seeing more of your work!
Hi Jess, Oh my Gosh how exciting! I've been working on cards to donate to "Cards for Hospitalized Kids" with the same motif so that makes it even better!!! I sent the email just a few minutes ago. Thank you so much! This really just made my day/night!
I love how chatty you are and how animated you are, it's like you're my best friend that I'm crafting with. Also that tip for the glossy accents is genius!!!! I was wondering what camera/mike do you use?
Thanks! So glad you enjoyed the video! I have a dslr camera that takes video, specifically a Nikon D3300. My mike is on a set of Razer headphones. Not sure the model though.
I love this idea, however, when I tried it I got frustrated. You make it look so easy, but I am going to try it again. I didn't use Doodlebug, maybe that is the problem. Their paper do go together very well.
Found your channel and I appreciate the simplicity of the card designs and it's made me rethink how I need to keep it simple. I'd like to start sending cards to hospitalized kids or to our service men and women overseas. Do you have the names of organizations who can help me? TIA! Love your work! Keep it up!
