Good game but the umpires need to be frickin fair
Yeah couple frees they should've paid in the 50 with port players hanging onto Hogan and making it hard for him to mark as well as some players copping the Dockers high. But you can't get them to pay everything
It’s was 32 free kicks to 15 freos way
There were a few dodgy calls both ways but I think freo's higher free kick count was generally deserved

The u pires were so bad at this game. Freo didn’t miss any of their goals and played well. A couple of powers players who weren’t playing very well like double Howard, Sam gray, butters, rozee and Sam Powell pepper. Good game tho just wish the umpires could’ve been a bit better

goodness me, Fremantle just could not put a score on the board in the third quarter but controlled the entire last quarter. well done. However, i noticed the umpire count was 14-7 Freo's way at one stage and just thought if this was in Adelaide it would be reversed and if Port were even at that stage, then if it were in Adelaide Freo would be 30 points behind. Umpires need to stop letting the crowd influence their decisions. These 50-50 decisions which would normally be let go are pulled up because the crowd is almost telling the umpires where there is a "possible" free and the umpires are indulging them.

I find it funny that port failed to kick a goal for like 30 minutes
why is the time ticking whilst the player takes 20-30 seconds to get ready for a kick. The time should be stopped if the player signals he is kicking for goal. If not, he's got the usual 2-3 seconds until play on. Time should only come on once he starts his walk up to kick for goal. In the Saints Suns game, it cost the Suns a chance to score a late goal. And for god sake, can you not blow the siren until after he's taken the kick. Put off much?
my god i swear port don't care anymore. so many free kicks to the over team, so many turnovers, not kicking a goal in the last quarter and not giving a damn. ken pull your head in. and the umpires are flogs [lets see of afl bans me for writing a comment]
Th3 Zm0nst3r port have no one to blame but themselves for those frees and not to mention the stunt Zak butters pulled unsportsmanlike.

The free kick count was 32-15. And personally I feel that gave Freo the win, were they deserving maybe not up to me to decide but the umps were very picky. I personally don't blame the umps more so the rules and the first I would change is the stupid 50m for taking one or two steps over the mark, the crime doesn't match the punishment.
Port played recklessly. Freo deserved the frees they earned. They should've had more had they paid the ones with port players holding Dockers in the forward 50 like Jessie Hogan and others.
Baydzone Jessy Hogan was the biggest fake, he is like a soccer player. He dived when he was going for leads to make it look like push in the back. The umpires were pretty bad, dockers did play well thought. If the umpires were fair I think it would’ve been a much better game.

Not a fan of either team but this is by far the most disgusting win in fremantles history! Dirty tactics and bad umpiring not to mention terrible preferential treatment to Michael Walters. Disgusting tactics Fremantle you should be ashamed save that sought of disgusting play for the Victorian teams!

Walters is so over rated he had half his goals from free kicks. Free kicks were horrible especially the fact it was 32 to 15

Not irrelevant at all. Next week when they beat Melbourne they could be sitting 4th if they blow them out. Then Carlton to boost percentage more if all goes according to plan then build on our new undefeated streak by beating the Eagles in the Dockers home derby and trust me. They won't make the same mistakes again like round 4! They've had time to learn and they got close to beating the Eagles with no Fyfe or Hambling
