WoW ! When Chris says "Your soul is a reflection of your being. . . " & Debby saying around 1:10 about ABBA . . . . "Fuck Me ! " Everybody has their guard down and is truly communicating.
Debbie Harry was and still is in a class of her own,she didn't have what female artists have now.what you see with Debbie is what you get, iconic and very very much talent all over again, pick them selves up when they fell,no big shot helping as they do with artists today.they did it all themselves and that deserves credit and great respect ❤
This was awesome great Interview Chris Stein and Debbie Harry still looking great with Her amazing voice 🎤and all Her Blondie Music 🎶 always forever Denny😘
debbie still has one of the most incredible faces ever ,female performers today can never hold a candle to debbie .she always looked like she just woke up always slightly disheveled but so much more beautiful for it effortless, no need for wind machines ,debbie is the real deal
Blondie was literally the first Band I fell in Love with. I was only 7 or 8 years old attending Most Holy Trinity catholic school in Williamsburg, Brooklyn back in 1977. A friend of my family had a cassette with just Blondie songs on it and he knew I liked Blondie so he gave me the cassette. I played that cassette everyday I came home from school. If I remember correctly it was a Black Maxwell Cassette which was a good cassette to record music on at the time. For those of you who still remember cassettes! LoL. I played the hell out of that cassette. Day & night, weekdays, weekend's and I took it everywhere I went. I would get teased by my friends for playing Rock cause my neighborhood was predominantly Spanish & Black and Disco was the popular music at the time and then one of the first big Rap songs came out by The Suger Hill Gang. The Rap song was called Rappers Delight. That song became a huge hit I believe everywhere in America. So my friends in school and on my block weren't understanding the sounds of Blondie. I couldn't have cared less, I was hooked on Clem Burkes amazing drumming which influenced me to play drums. Mesmerized by Debbie's Beauty and Sexy Voice and having the coolest attitude around. The whole band was just perfect in my eyes. The cherry on Top was Blondie was from my city, New York City. It couldn't have gotten any cooler then that. Listening to Blondie and following them in those years I would go buy the hippest music magazines because this was way before the years of computers & the internet & social media. Buying and looking through those magazines introduced me to another lifestyle which I fell in love with later on in my early teens. So I found out about other cool bands like the B52s, Talking Heads, The Ramones, Joan Jett, The Pretenders. All amazing bands who released amazing music which are still played on the radio today. What I'm greatful of is Blondie is still damn Hot & Rocking. There still recording & touring thank God in 2022. Just grateful a Band named Blondie exist because they made Punk & Rock & Roll a lot more cooler and they helped a Spanish kid from Brooklyn get some of that Coolness also. 👍🤟👍🤟👍❤
Great piece. I love it when they've finished saying what they're saying and there's 'awkward silences'. Why carry on talking when you've finished? Spot on!!
What a charming, wonderful conversation. All three participants were completely fabulous. Shame on the people on this comments thread who felt it necessary to sneer.
You cant be serious. It was awkward and the interviewer was arrogant and egomaniacal. Blondies is the star not the interviewer- we dont want to hear him.
It's too bad her bio parents never got to know her. Her mom had the option and said no. Not sure if her dad knew about her. But her parents must have been really beautiful people to have such a beautiful daughter. At her peak she was even more beautiful than Marilyn Monroe.
Marilyn had a better smile. Debbie had better eye structure. Marilyn was a perfect Movie Star and Debbie was funkified Rock Star. Two different birds but both Equistly beautiful.
This interview brings out a certain warmth, rather than the usual go-round with the same ol' queries which pry into all the clichés - there are some endearing moments. I think this interview was quite intriguing as it's energy seemed to place focal on the total 'picture' of these two iconic ones...
Every aspect of her character nature personality and her creativity are 100% genuine authentic and unassailably sex goddess of every boys rock and roll heart ❤🎉
From Palermo (Italy).
I hear that this is Blondie's last year doing gigs. There are no words that I can think of that would convey the thought of missing a Blondie gig. I never been to one. I was hoping to see a Blondie gig, live, looks like that will never happen now. That's how life works, it will give you a curve-ball at times. Anyway, someone asked the question " what's your favorite Blondie song? " I love all the Blondie songs, but if I had to make one, it would be " Call Me " but there are other ones too, like " The Tide Is High " " Rapture " " Hanging On The Telephone " " The Hardest Part ", and on and on . Blondie live on. Love you Debbie.
31:50 hmmm i wonder why debbie shuts her eyes, shakes her head, then opens her eyes and raises her eyebrows when chris says "this was at arturos loft on joey ramone place" then she doesnt even turn at all to look at the photo and doesnt say anything about the ramoens when chris is talking about them
I love the band Blondie! I feel like what I took away from this was a very negative and sad sack kind of feel, I liked what Debbie said, aside from the fact she kept looking for direction from Chris. He seems so very negative and down in the doldrums. He needs to be a little more happy about what they accomplished. I know I am sure happy for them!
Too many to list. Depends on the mood I'm in. I'll usually just pick one of their albums and listen to it straight through. Rarely just one song. For instance, if there's a song I want to listen to from their first album, I'll just listen to the whole album, since it flows so seamlessly from one song to the next. And back then, albums were so short that there is really no excuse to not listen to the whole experience.

Well , she answered all the questions honestly and in a present way. I would have asked the same questions and I find the answers quite interresting. Debbie is in a relaxed and great mood throughout the whole interview despite having a cold.

Debbie is still so beautiful. She is an ikon, legend.
The camera still loves Debbie. Debbie is more interesting than the interviewer was able to draw out.

One very groovy Blondie story dude.
At 60 they mean more than I ever imagined
You would think one of the sound engineers would've fixed that damn microphone rubbing against Debbie's jacket.
She still has that velvet voice ❤️

Favorite Blondie song... Angels on the Balcony...but I karaoke to the tune of One way or Another
Angels in my top 10 for sure. Think my favorite is walk like me
Blondie forever

If the interviewer had gone any slower he would have been talking backwards.

Absolutely!
More beautiful than Marilyn that seems weird to say
Still is, in my opinion! :)
Well does anyone's looks keep 15 years after they died?
Marilyn had a better smile. Debbie had better eye structure. Marilyn was a perfect Movie Star and Debbie was funkified Rock Star. Two different birds but both Equistly beautiful.

A truly heartwarming interview between one of the legendary couples in the music industry....
Warmth ? you cant be serious. it was awkward from the getgo , redundant and and the interviewer acts like hes the star.

At 69, she still looks good .
+VINCI52 She does look good. She's also had 2 facelifts. Still, she's timeless.
She looks... just okay. Let's not go too far. She does seem a bit hazy during this interview.
You need to get real. How stars look is fake. They don't look like us because they have been created by experts in the cosmetic field.
