- This WW1 Battlefield Tour in France and Belgium happened over remembrance weekend 2023. Two full packed days with guided tours in both the areas of the Somme and Ypres.
Visiting iconic locations that were key locations during World War One. Including Wellington tunnels, Vimy ridge, Ypres, Flanders Fields, British, German and French Cemeteries, Canadian and Yorkshire Trenches and Menin Gate for the Last Post on remembrance Sunday.
Personally I enjoyed it that much, I am going back to visit more locations in the area.

Indeed thanks for watching
Thanks for this video. All peoples should watch this, and remember all the brave and innocent lives that were lost. We cannot forget history and the lessons that it tries to teach us.....if only we will listen and take heed. The world needs to change, we all need to change, individually and collectively.
May God help us to do that!
Thanks again Andy.
Thanks for the comment, being an ex soldier myself and having I had a small interest in ww1 before it has expanded a lot more since the battlefield tour and creating this video,
Which God?

Thank you for sharing your video! I have been visiting Ypres, and it's surrounding villages for about 25 years now. But I travel alone, sometimes with some friends there. Seeing, and walking the fields, visiting museums, makes you realize how futile, and senseless this war really was you know. In all those years I have visited Ypres, and surrounding villages, I had the privilege to visit recently discovered, and opened Dug-outs, both german and British ones, Vampire dug-out for instance, of which a video also exist, and was on TV, by Time-team, if I am correct. Also, while walking the fields, the still present shell's, which alway's keep coming on the surface, makes you realize the true horror of it all. My great grandfather was also there, on the German side, he luckily survived it. I am planning a visit too, in a few weeks time. Lest we forget. Best regards, and again, thanks for sharing your trip with us.
Thank you for your comment, I shall visit more in the area next year, and I also plan to visit some ww2 locations too, and of course I shall be taking my camera with me for further videos
I went down Vampire as well, in 2007, if I remember correctly. I lived in Ypres from 2001 until 2014 and still feel drawn to that place. It's very special. Those who know what I mean understand.
thanks for posting
Thanks for watching
