- This car takes 3.8 quarts of oil I’m not a mechanic but I love working on my cars remember to recycle your old oil and putting it back into the same jug of oil the new one came out out of and taking it to any auto store such as pepboys and auto zone and recycle it 👍🏼thanks for watching
Which oil did you use?
0w-20 full synthetic
Thanks for the video. Just a reminder to people: Start the engine and let it run for a minute or so before you make your final dipstick check. Oil will circulate through the filter leaving you room to add a little more.
Man...DIY savings to extreme, didn't even waste money on a funnel. Hardcore...
Great videos thanks
Hola , me podrías ayudar a saber como cambiar el aceite de la caja de velocidad del fit 2011? Gracias
Hello !
Good job.
Where did you buy these plastic ramps?
They seem to be very good for this kind of work.
Thanks
Ps: i'm french and i love honda 😉
Got them a while ago they’re rhino ramps from pep boys . They are super reliable and thick plastic and thanks I appreciate it
Dude, why does that look like transmission fluid and not engine oil? It is red and looked a lot more watery than oil.
Trust me it’s not trans fluid . It’s engine oil just looks like that because of the lighting .
What oil did you used and how many litres?
0W-20 and 3.8 quartz after you drop you car down to the ground make sure your car is running and check dipstick again after it has set . And add more if needed
ahhhm how many liter of engine oil do i need for this type of model?
3.8 liters
@@murkeyvlogs3212 thank u Sir
mm ??
I always recommend buying the Quarts instead of the jug since you only need 4 Quarts so you will have an extra one to save and you don't have to worry about putting too much oil in, which could lead to blown seals
What size socket do you use
I put a Fomoto valve in place of the plug that I bought from Amazon with a 12" section of vinyl tube and sawed a 3" hole in the under pan. Now I can roll it up on the ramps , crawl under and release the valve without taking the under pan off (that's the hard part). I change oil at 5k miles and the filter every third change, when I must take the under pan off. Got 180k miles on a '08 Fit and it uses about 1/2 of a cup of oil between changes.
This is an awesome video! Thanks for helping me understand how to do it myself
No problems thanks for checking out my video
you didn't change the washer drain plug?
No need to change it only change it if it’s broken or if you see oil coming from the plug

So you got a new filter too , every time you change it ??
Yes new filter every time you do an oil change .
Torque settings for sump plug?
Thanks you for the video. I would like to know how good is this honda. L what to buy one with 112k for 5000. Any complaints or expensive repairs to be aware of?. Whatever type of oil or fuel?
I have one, they're really good right now. I've been 155k and run like new, I recommend... I even had an accident and I fixed it and it's still running good. Good cars. No trouble at all. Greetings from Puerto Rico.
@@reivuhy Thank you
