I think that was one of the best showings Xbox ever had. They needed this in the worst way. Finally, a focus on more traditional single-player games despite the overall focus being COD.

We've had within just the past ten years: Red Dead Redemption 2, Elden Ring and DS3, Uncharted 4, DOOM, Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, God of War 1 and 2, FF7 remake and rebirth, Control, Baldur's Gate 3, Disco Elysium, Spider-Man 1 and 2, Persona 5, RE2 remake, Hades, DMC5, and way more that I did not list. This showcase was amazing but saying it somehow negates the past 10 years of games is absolutely ridiculous.
Some of these games are starting to look insane. Incredible how good the graphics are now. South of Midnight looks even sicker than I thought it would, Fable too

Even the worst Black Ops game had a decent story and plot twists. BO series is better than new COD Series. Unfortunately the game will be overpriced with battle pass. Will wait for another 2 years for a discounted sale.
@@HusbandOfManyWives1776 Microsoft killed Hi-fi and Tango, not Gamepass. Hi-Fi pass the metrics needed to be a success for Gamepass at least before the layoffs were announced. The choice to have it on GP is still Microsoft along with their general ineptitude around any of their acquired properties is why Tango is gone. Microsoft just has way too much studios that they either close down or have sitting around nothing.
I'm going to say, you might have to catch up on the lore. They hid things about the past in collectibles and some things are revealed about E-Day during as well. There's also comics and books but I'm not that deep. Wouldn't mind just not a cheap hobby lol
I can’t wait for Fable. It means a lot to me; it was one of my cousin's (best friend) favorite gaming franchises before he passed away, and he had a Fable disc in his Xbox every time I visited. I’m glad it’s back.
I think Fable is going to pull a fast one on us Ala metal gear solid 2. This trailer hints that the woman Humphrey is talking about ISN'T the female hero we see, but the antagonist. And I think that female hero is one of a pair you can choose from to play as. That would make sense to me.
Yeah low-key I've not been big on Indy stuff for a long time, but that cutscene had some good classic humor to it and the setting and plot seems promising.
I'm just glad we're getting all these single player games finally. Gears of War E-Day, Perfect Dark, Metal Gear Solid Delta, Star Wars Outlaws, Assassin's Creed Shadows, Indiana Jones. KEEP THEM COMING!!!

Grears: E-Day? Fantastic Perfect Dark? Gimme Gimme Gimme Fable? Looks...weird, but maybe that is a good thing. Indiana Jones? Finally feels like an actual movie come to life. Want it.

Gears of War is back, I almost cried. Dragon Age has me a bit worried in the story and gameplay areas though, won't judge yet until i know more but id like some closure/questions answered from DAI. Fable I was hoping would be a sequel personally but as long i can chose my gender/customize the character and the story is good ill be happy. Great showcase! Edit: I should be ashamed i didnt mention Doom... wife wants to play already! Haha
Quite impressive list. Never heard of Clair Obscure, but I really like the trailer. I'll follow it. Dragon Age, Clair Obscure, Age of Mythology Retold, Fable (Maybe?), and Avowed are on my radar. Fable and Dragon age looks heavy DEI infected, but I still hope the history and mechanic are decent since I love both series. Pls let it be good. ç.ç
These games were the most 2020's games EVER. Overabundance of sparkly effects and magic, Enemy health bars, Mixed Race female prog, Ultra realistic artstyle straight from UE5 or Stylized art style akin to Arkane series. Literally nothing we have not seen released 5x per year in the last 10 years.
