For anyone wondering, the Midnight color is gorguose in real life. It's somewhere between navy and black and a has a 'midnight tuxedo' vibe. Very beautiful color. I'm very glad it's not a 'washed out blcak' this year.
The midnight looks really cool, cuz it looks black in low light and when in an lighter environment the phone looks much more ble /dark blue. Highly recommend it!!
absolutely loving my midnight 256GB 13, i got it at a really good deal from my carrier a week ago. i gotta say, it is a MASSIVE upgrade from my old iphone x which broke just a week before i got the 13. battery life is incredible, i no longer have to worry about having to bring a charger everywhere i go, cameras are amazing and the performance is just absolutely insane. if you’re planning on upgrading from an iphone x or older, i’d say go for it.
Honestly sucks that Apple didn’t implement 120hz screens into the regular 13. Aside from that, the colours on these new phones are amazing! I’ll definitely be getting my 13 in midnight when I upgrade at the end of the month 👍

At T-Mobile, I was going to get the light blue iPhone 14 plus and it’s cost a lot. So I decided to get the iPhone 13 in midnight black. And I’m happy about it.
To this day Midnight is my favorite Apple color. I’m on Blue Titanium Pro Max right now which is beautiful. But I hope they bring the Midnight color to a Pro Max model eventually

I upgraded from an iPhone XR that was having overheating and shut down issues. Otherwise, I would have kept the XR which had 128 GB. The 13 is definitely an upgrade with better screen, cameras and battery. But in day-to-day use, I really don't see much of an upgrade in performance. I compared opening apps between the XR and 13, and in the real world, there was not much difference. However, the display is crisper and the battery is so much better. But I think if you have anything from the X or newer, and your phone is still working, I don't see a need to upgrade. I have the Midnight color, and dI really like it better than my black XR.
The Coms are a massive upgrade from the Xr. You’re getting the U1 chip (that works even when your phones battery dead), WiFi 6 and a wayyyyy better modem for both 4g and 5G. You made a good move, those upgrades alone buy you a decade. Wifi5 was the standard for close to 12 years. WiFi 6 came out in 2019 so you’ve got a great setup. Get a case and tempered glass on it if you haven’t.
Im getting this phone in a couple pf days sure the 14 is out but the price went down for this phone my12 pro max starting breaking down inside slowly so im getting this color and this phone thank you for the review
I would have loved to see a 120hz display on the iPhone 13! I think Apple chose to keep this for the iPhone 13 Pro to differentiate between the two models. Also 120hz displays are more expensive to manufacture. I hope that with the iPhone 14, all models will come with a 120hz display :)
I wish they would do that too, but because it has "pro" in its name it's probably going to stay exclusive to "pro products" like the macbook pro and iPad Pro, which is a shame

Hi Rudd, as far as life time is concerned there will be no difference between the 13 and the 13Pro. And yes, I expect Apple to give these models at least 4 years full support. Enjoy your future 13 or 13 Pro!
I saw this iphone in its box in my parents closet and I asked them for it for Christmas I think they got it (not sure if it’s mine tho cuz they didn’t wrap it maybe cuz I’m impatient 👍🏽)
I got my 13 in midnight on the day it was released!! I wanted pink but T-Mobile didn’t get any so I picked black as I had the black 12. I love the 13 the battery is amazing and I love that it starts at 128GB
Hi Khalil, I totally understand where you are coming from. My advice would be to go for the iPhone 13. As it comes with double the base storage, better cameras, significantly better battery life and even faster A15 processor. To me this is worth the relatively small price difference. Not to mention the really nice Midnight colour. Hope that can help :)
Same here, I am surprised (in a bad way) by the navy blue hue and details when I got mine because it just looks like true black on the website! Not to mention some reviewers from other sites say “it is just black”, obviously they didn’t see the phone in person and didn’t do enough research!

60hz is really all you need in a phone, you won’t notice it difference from day to day usage. Apple also made it 60hz for best battery.

I love the midnight color on the phone and. For me it stands out more like a phone.
Exactly! I love how it's not the usual plain black colour, instead has a subtle blue undertone that really shows in bright light!
And for me I don’t get to distracted because of that subtle blue color like you said. Not to dark but not to light

Most people do not realize the screen size is virtually the same size as the 8 Plus. It’s not really mini despite the name.
