This is what I love so much : excellent jazz guitar player wear meshuggah shirt. Music no boundaries!!! I and I enjoy the video and the playing as usual!!!!
Teaching jazz warmups in a Meshuggah t-shirt… you have my attention.
Meshuggah uses a lot of polyrhythms, .. TooL too. So if you like jazz and also like heavy music those are solid choices to listen to.
@@malikon6953 Absolutely! I saw Messhugah last year, and it was incredible. Haven't seen Tool yet, but I've been a fan since Aenima.
I can tell that this guy is an excellent teacher and has a wealth of knowledge. I am just sad that this is still beyond the level of an average aspiring guitarist as most of us (in my opinion) either entirely cannot read musical notation, or if we understand it, we cannot intuitively get it.
Excellent lesson
Thanks!
Great lesson Cecil. Thanks.
In you I find the beauty in the nerdiness of details. Thanks dear cecil
A brilliant video and set of exercises, thank you
Great thanks much
bless day bro. yes good teaching
Thiis could be the best of those videos that say, which is the best guitar for jazz? etc. In the right hands, ANY.
DOPE!
Be right back...I gotta go buy this PDF
great
Wow, this sounds so great! Just one small question, Cecil: Is there a chord progression to go with it? That would be a really nice little add-on! 😊
I am considering this; my real problem is that I purchase his stuff expecting the video to be the same as the RUclips videos and am always disappointed that they are not. They are just him playing through the exercise with no commentary...😪
Isn't that the truth I've purchased some and was horribly disappointed.
That just means jazz guitar is not meant for you just saying .Use your ears not your eyes it's just that simple
You shouldn't be trying to play Jazz guitar if you need him in the video talking to you.
Learn to use your ears not your eyes
It's not that hard
@@dappergents3743 Wow ! What an ugly answer dude ! "That just means jazz guitar is not meant for you". WTF ? Your comment is nasty and irrelevant. Nothing wrong with what lewistaylor says dude ! personally it does not bother me that it's no commentary on the video, music school and decades of playing makes me able to understand and make analysis of almost whatever that interest me. I use
my ears because it is the most important, true. But i certainly have a better ear and understanding than when i started, even if i could hear quite good from an early stage. Man, i wish i could challenge you on Giant Steps or moment's notice just to make you shut your trap, kind of kicking your butt. Because i am almost 100% sure that you are not a good player.
@@dappergents3743It's not related at all; one thing is saying that about learning a standard, but this is a book that on RUclips has a very explanatory and detailed video, but afterwards it's just the PDF and you're on your own, which isn't bad, but these detailed explanations end up confusing buyers
What do I need to study for jazz guitar
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥👌
Very tasty
May I ask for the last chromatic dominant exercise, under which chords can this exercise use as licks? Sorry for my bad English
Nice meshuggah shirt
Bleed 😂\m/
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥👌😃👍
Cecil looking at the fretboard, must be a difficult one
Cool ! Tabs with the video ?
Tabs are IN the video.
Meshuggah ❤❤❤🎉
