Honda motors are almost bullet proof as far as reliability goes. Especially the diesels 😊 A good clean and some seat covers and you'll be quids in 😊 I'd be tempted to have it but I'm off on hols and you've probably dealt with it by the time the video is out.

The civic will go on forever, but :
Rusty roof line on the 8th gen civic is very common and needs to be addressed before its a MOT write off.
check wipers park properly, if they don’t the disc on the gearing needs a clean, simple couple of hours.
Nothing else much goes wrong apart from wear and tear
