Sounds really lovely that, wonderful ZF whines at low speeds as well- really glad you managed to film it! I do hope this goes to a new home, but with Ensign's merciless bus culling programme, I wouldn't be surprised if this is the end of the road- shame!
Unfortunately I agree, it’s undeniable to say that 30955 is a beautiful sounding tank, but the engine and gearbox seem to have done an awful lot of mileage, and will probably go soon, which will probably kill it off
Knowing how out of its depth this thing really was in Cornwall at its age, it’s not sounding too bad after months of the 87’s hills. Not surprised they’ve disabled it considering its Norfolk, you don’t need it with flats, and knowing no doubt Ensign will send it to the scrappers before too long. Not bad though
If it can survive Doncaster and it can survive Cornwall, I’m sure Norfolk is a piece of piss, it was quite happy bumbling around Norfolk/Suffolk, plus it’s much more capable at Border stuff than their VPLs, shame Ensign are almost guaranteed to bin this one

@@NC-002 this bus was sold to a company (not sure which one) in Peterborough after BorderBus had given it back
