I have been playing glacial veigar for the last week. It has such a funny lategame Whereas all keystones ap ratios have been nerfed over time the slow actually has a 20% ap ratio. Since the slow duration is 3 sec + cc duration. And veigar stun is a whopping 2.5 at max rank you create 3x 5.5sec glacial rays that slow upto a 100% (at ~1320ap). If you hit anyone with ur e in a teamfight. I have had 4 people being unable to move at all because just one of them got hit by the stun. Its so ridicilous.
Veigar lategame is OP because you have so much base AP from your passive that you can build 3 damage items (deathcap, void, and a CDR/mana item) and build full tank with the rest. You'll be decently tanky while still oneshotting squishies. Dead mans can replace boots if you get into the habit of not autoattacking.

That game 1 laning phase was rough to watch. Just consistently breaking their ankles on every gank, but they still get ahead because they gank you 10 times in a row
the aatrox died within .05 seconds of going in before elder, spawned back in and did the exact same thing and then blamed you. league players are truly incredible.

In teamfights where you’d see value from it you aren’t going to see any more value than you would from the instant benefit of dark harvest aerie or comet, especially considering his mana consumption, being in combat for that long early game is a very low likelihood and would really bring down your lane scaling by being in combat so long and not saving for last hits since many other champions can outpace him in extended trades regardless of conq, but not many can match his utility later in teamfights or to secure kills for himself/the team, so making it through the lanephase either progressively or being a poke bully is the way to go. He’s a poke champ and pick champ, not really a fighter. I know you asked pekin, but there’s some analysis in case he may not see. I can’t say the same for every mage since i’m not fluent with them all, hey MAYBE it’s lowkey good sometimes on aurora or lilia since theyre extended fighters, but for the majority of mages it isnt the play for aforementioned reasons.

I miss the challenge style series. It's difficult for me to watch a standard mid gameplay now without it being off meta or off role, since if the informative angle is the route, many long time viewers have already experienced that on your channel countless times so it risks going stale eventually. I've seen enough vei gar/ *insert standard mid* games to get my fill personally. I really wanted to see you hit challenger with all 5 roles to be the perfect antibody to tyler1. Hope the game goes well but i'm going to tap out today, maybe for a while all depending.
Yeah, I feel the same way. I enjoyed the top climb, these standard mid games are pretty boring to watch for me. I hope he does something new, where he has to challenge himself again, otherwise it gets dull over time. Obviously he has more then enough skill to master every role, but I just hope he doesn't get to comfortable. And I also hope these challenges will pay off for him view wise.
