@@razvanbela Well mostly the 90s NFS but I mean this was the 90s I can't blame it was way harder to record a sound but if you compare them nowadays they sound pretty generic. NFS UG1 sounds are great but pretty generic too like the old NFS. Well, if you reffer that FH4 has copy and pasted sounds so here is NFS UG2. I do like NFS UG2 sounds but NFS MW 2005/Carbon were way better since they are not copy and pasted that much. I think NFS Pro Street from all Black Box era has the best sounds and turbo sounds (even though there is still inaccurancy like every racing game so no surprise). FH4 doesn't always have bad sounds for example the Audi R8, Lexus LFA actually sound better than older FHs. Plus ironically in FH4 the Supra sounds the closest to bone stock 2JZ-GTE while here in NFS UG2 it uses VQ35DE sounds and for upgraded modified RB25/RB30DET (it could be also from modified 1JZ or RB26 single turbo) and finally for max upgrade - Ferrari 360 Modena sound. Explain the logic here when the engine swap weren't a thing before NFS Shift series. Also honorable mention: NFS The Run also had kinda poor sounding cars (because of the distorted and quiet sounds).
It uses the same sounds as the 2G Eclipse which I don't understand why Black Box thought this Eclipse had 6G72 when this car used the exact same 4G63T from the Evo 1-9. Even in NFS Carbon they kept using this sound even if they got a proper 4G63T.

@Neon - Corolla Virus The way how the sounds are processed in NFS UG2 is better I agree but the variety of sounds is better there cause there are new sounds. And if you use the car tuner mod you can add better sounds like there is a proper 2ZZ-GE sound for the Toyota Celica as stock like the Lotus Elise sound (since both cars in real life share the same engine and Black Box recorded Lotus Elise.)
The sound at Skyline can be made, as in Double Fast and the Furious, without putting a couple of details. And in this video, it's unremarkable, sounding the same as the IS 300, Supra and 350Z.

Bruh it uses the same sounds as Ford Mustang GT and in fact these sounds ARE from Mustang not GTO.
I love the golf soundd :B
Funny how it is shares the same sounds with Audi A3 (despite it is clearly seen on the badge it is 3.2 Quattro) but for some reason Black Box accidentaly made it to sound like 1.8/2.0L I4 NA. Even if you put it on the dyno as stock you'll see it is the 3.2 Quattro version. It is strange how in reality the Audi TT 3.2 Quattro and Audi A3 3.2 Quattro use the exact same 3.2L VR6 that is also found in the Volkswagen R32 Golf but instead the Audi TT 3.2 Quattro shares same sounds with the Hyundai Tiburon GT V6.
At least in NFS MW 2005 it got fixed the Audi A3 3.2 Quattro with the proper sound but for some reason Black Box put BMW M3 E46 sound for the Audi TT 3.2 Quattro like why? I understand both cars have the same volume and cylinders by the configuration is different. Audi TT 3.2 Quattro has 15 degree VR6 while the E46 has I6/S6.
Funfact: the tutorial skyline in the first nfsu is the only car in the entire game that actually uses the real sound
Fun fact: You don't realise that sound comes from modified Skyline with single turbo not twin-turbo it sounds nothing like stock RB26DETT sound. Just search stock RB26DETT and you'll be surprised. Love me or hate but NFS 2015/Heat has more accurate RB26DETT.
@@HeroManNick132 the sound from the tutorial skyline in nfsu1 is literally a stock rb26
@@chocolatesensei5648 Hear again: ruclips.net/video/Jgx7Aq3X3mU/видео.html, ruclips.net/video/-hIHrK3Ygj8/видео.html
@@HeroManNick132 its the same sound do you even know what skyline im talking about?
@@chocolatesensei5648 The intro Skyline sound in the cutscenes is straight ripped off 2F2F from Brian's R34 Skyline which is basically mixed sound of RB30DET with some 2JZ with HKS Turbo and Tubilar Manifold definetelly not stock.
And also if you count the cutscene with TJ driving Samatha's Civic also the same sound taken from this cutscene: ruclips.net/video/_0Wgf5-gAuE/видео.html
Hi, how can I unlock all the wide bodies in the game? or for a single car?
Nissan Sentra. All third packages parts without engine. Good sound
You like the Mazda Protege sound?
Corolla gts should be here, and the sound from skyline in stage 2 is epic
So the 240SX ahould be too since it shares the same sounds as the AE86 as Toyota Celica GT-S (it uses some of the AE86 sounds)
And if you talk about max upgraded Skyline - nah it sounds like Ferrari 360 that does get shared with Mazda RX-7/RX-8, Supra/Is300.
One thing is for sure: all nfs games have awesome engine sounds!
I can't say the same thing for all NFS game.
@@HeroManNick132 give me an nfs game with poor engine sounds...and when I say poor I mean like fh4 poor...
Except NFS mobile games like NFS no limit
Subaru sound was so realistic that our dog started wagging his tail because my dad had Subaru wrx sti 🤣🤣
Sounds are best when the engine is stock
Well guys, In my opinion, the Mitsubishi 3000GT-VR sounds amazing. I've driven it before in Midnight club Los Angeles.
It uses the same sounds as the 2G Eclipse which I don't understand why Black Box thought this Eclipse had 6G72 when this car used the exact same 4G63T from the Evo 1-9. Even in NFS Carbon they kept using this sound even if they got a proper 4G63T.
@@HeroManNick132 back in 2004 one of the main problems was the file size (game is abit over 4gb so it was quite alot back than), that is why some sounds are recycled and textures are realy low resolution
@@JukoYT I mean I know the limitations back then they had to recycle many sounds and textures. But at least they could use the same S2000 sounds, and the Integra sound for the Eclipse will make more sense than the V6 sound.
Also, if you port sounds from NFS Heat even they work very well here, however the deccel + accel files can't because they are too big either the accel or the deccel sound you can put to work properly.
Do video to evolution of SUV cars in nfs games
My Favorite stock engine sound Skyline GTR R34, Mazda Rx7 And Wolksvagen Golf GTI :) Very best game NFSU2 :)
Nice spelling bruh. Also you do realise some of your favourite sounds are reused in other cars for upgrades like street package of Supra/IS300 use the same sound as stock Skyline. Mazda RX-7 and Mazda RX-8 same sound. Audi A3 3.2 Quattro is also used the same sounds as Golf. And if we count the upgraded Golf sound that according to the sound files is taken from Drag GTI - Ford Focus ZX3, Audi TT 3.2 Quattro.
@@HeroManNick132 Yes, it is very nice that the sound changes when the engine is changed, and there is still this nice detail in many games. :)
Subie sounds good
The Pontiac GTO is a Holden Monaro CV-8
No crap, literatelly the Vauxhall Monaro VXR8 (that appeared in NFS MW 2005/Carbon) is another Pontiac GTO that is made in Australia instead of the USA for the UK market as Vauxhall instead of Holden.
JDM cars numero uno
Sounds better than in the New Forza and other shits from today
Bruh be real nostalgia tard.
In next video make NFS Underground 2 & NFS Most Wanted 2005 sound and graphics comprasion
That is obvious NFS UG2 will win in graphics and NFS MW 2005 in sounds (even if some sounds are still there in NFS MW 2005).
Maybe comparing UG1 vs UG2 vs MW vs Carbon
@@TheBossGaming Yes. I want see it👌🔥💖
@Neon - Corolla Virus The way how the sounds are processed in NFS UG2 is better I agree but the variety of sounds is better there cause there are new sounds. And if you use the car tuner mod you can add better sounds like there is a proper 2ZZ-GE sound for the Toyota Celica as stock like the Lotus Elise sound (since both cars in real life share the same engine and Black Box recorded Lotus Elise.)
6:51 RB25DETT HKS T04Z
NOnono eso no es un 2JZ
You mean RB25DET. If it was Twin-Turbo it should be RB25DETT.
The sound at Skyline can be made, as in Double Fast and the Furious, without putting a couple of details. And in this video, it's unremarkable, sounding the same as the IS 300, Supra and 350Z.
You forgot G35.
@@HeroManNick132 What are you talking about?
@@alexa5175 I mean you forgot Infiniti G35 that also shares the same sound as the Nissan 350Z which is no surprise that is basically more practical Nissan 350Z.
You realize you can DRAMATICALLY change the sound of each of these just by the right tune?
NFS UNDERGROUND 2!! ❤ best sound hyundia tiburon but stock
You do realise the Audi TT 3.2 Quattro also uses the exact same sound as stock. And the sound for the Tiburon is from VR6 Jetta according to the sound files called - GIN_VR6_Jetta_M3.gin.
But 1 thing I don't understand why the Audi A3 also doesn't use this sound (even clearly on the badge says 3.2 Quattro) and even if you put it on the dyno says it is 3.2 Quattro. Black Box made a mistake as regular 1.8/2.0 NA Audi A3 and it uses sounds from the VW Golf - GIN_VW_Cabriolet.gin.
Also Hyundai is written like that.
You don't need V8 to sound good!
GTO Goated. Sound Menacing asf
You realise that it shares the same sounds are Ford Mustang GT? Plus the sounds come from Mustang not from GTO.
My favorite cars from NFS Underground 2 are: R34 GT-R, WRX Sti, Tiburon GT, 3000GT, Eclipse, Supra and the 350Z.
IS300, G35?
@@HeroManNick132 those too as well!
best sounding: stock civic and tuned celica
I think the street upgrade for the Evo, Civic and RSX sounds very good too.... Sadly (for me) it's not in the video

6:52 wait... what ? There’s not a problem between the R34 and Supra about the engine sound ? 😂
R34 engine stock sound is the best for me lol
You know the street upgrade of Supra/IS300 uses the exact same sound as stock Skyline.
It's embarrassing that the GTO was a single exhaust car, and not a dual one like IRL
It is the 5.7L V8 LS1 version (the older version - 2004). If you don't know there is a difference in the 2005 and 2004 version. 2004 is less aggressive - it has smaller engine and it has 2 pipe exhaust on the left side only. The 2005 version is more aggressive with more vents and 2 exhausts on both sides and it has 6.0L V8 LS2.
Any midnight club players? What about you boss? Submit yourself if you are. I hear the game has an outstanding street racing background. Not to mention cool rides. Especially when they're tricked out.
Sadly no.. maybe with emulators I could play LA.. I've heard that game is awesome

Yeah. Dude. You should try it out. You'll fit in great in LA. The best way to see the city is at 245MPH.
Another that u missed :
Stock 240SX
Level 1 Celica
Stock Focus
Level max MX-5
Level 2 Civic have better sound
Level 1 Acura RSX
Stock Sentra
Stock Celica use the exact same sound as Mitsubishi Evo VIII, Honda Civic Si. Max Mazda MX-5'sound is not that special it is used very much by many cars like Peogeot 206/106, Sentra etc and funny how this sound is from Chevrolet Cavalier while the stock sound of the Civic/Evo VIII/Celica as well the RSX (bit different but still is from Honda S2000). Also Nissan Sentra it uses as sound from Mazda Protege (Familia).
The Nissan 240SX, Ford Focus, Mazda MX-5 are one of these cars that use stock sounds from the actual car instead of other cars like most of the cars. But it is strange how the AE86 use the exact same sounds as the 240SX.

nissan 350z best sound of me but theboss gaming is the best sound xD
I would say the unused sound in NFS Carbon (that is similar to the NFS Payback/Heat's but more aggressive is better.) It is funny how the Nissan 350Z/Infiniti G35 (no surprise) as well for some reason Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R (street) upgrade, Toyota Supra/Lexus Is300 share also the VQ35DE sounds.
Try to do Pabloracer's engine sound mod.
Nissan Skyline is HOT but this game is also HOT and i still love it!
What do you mean by "hot"?
Putting Ferrari sound on stage 3 engine is the beginning of the fall of EA

I just think the 350z with stage 3 turbos would be cooler, just a suggestion though
Still NFS Pro Street/Undercover has better turbo sounds just saying
@@HeroManNick132 Damn right fella
The best sound WRX in all nfs
NFS Carbon has better ultimate upgraded sound than NFS UG2 change my mind.
The Supra have an RB26DETT in this game?
Only as street upgrade as well Lexus I300. The stock and pro sounds are from VQ35DE. Extreme sound is from Ferrari 360 Modena that is shared also with Mazda RX-7/RX-7 and Nissan Skyline.
Also this RB26DETT sounds more like modified RB25DET/RB30DET or it could be most likely modified 1JZ (since it sounds mix between these), however it doesn't sound it has Twin-Turbo it sounds it has only single Turbo.
Pls make McLaren evolution in NFS game
Mazda RX8 stage 2 engine sound is the best
Mazda RX-7: Am I joke to you?
stock: hyundai tiburón coupe - nissan BNR34.
upgraded sounds absolutelly bad.
Nissan BNR34? The stock Hyundai Tiburon is GIN_VR6_Jetta_M3.gin as well the Audi TT 3.2 Quattro. Also the extreme upgraded sound is used GIN_Honda_S2000_Church.gin which is also used by the Honda Civic Si and Mitsubushi Lancer Evo 8 too.
A GOOD nfs must have A Golf GTI
6:51 Why da frick Supra it's with R34 stock engine sound? Something wrong it's not right xD
Because it has street engine upgrade. Same goes for the IS300 when you put it with street upgrades. Also fun fact - this sound contains 2JZ sound since it is taken from Brian's R34 Skyline from 2F2F. And the producers put a 2JZ sound too.
I think they swapped the supra and the R34 sounds before releasing the game
If you mean that street upgrade for the Skyline sounds like Supra/IS300/G35/350Z (or should I say VQ35DE) and street upgrade use modified RB25DET/RB30DET or it could be RB26 but single turbo sound yeah that is strange.
