This should be the last version of that map, which is 1 year old, and the reason i did never put a link for it is because it's so unfinished, and it doesn't even have a skybox. T4M is required to play it.
For people wondering why the project was abandoned. At the time when i dropped this, it was because I was doing the the Bachelor's and at the same time I landed my first job in profession, and at the same time I had to deal with lots of more important things than this project. The reason why this all started was because same as most of us(i guess) me and lots of my friends would play the custom maps with low end PCs(the entire thing is done in a low laptop , could barely run bo1 with less than 20fps lmfao), but we had a huge passion towards the cod waw game especially custom zombies, and as we couldn't enjoy other cods(for the reasons mentioned above) I just decided to start and make shadows of evil by myself and see where it goes. Unfortunately, even if I magically found the files that i need(which have been lost long ago), it is pointless to even continue with it as I don't think anyone plays cod bo3 custom maps anymore, let alone cod waw which has been long dead. I know that plutonium and such exist, but still....the cod waw zombies there is barely existing lol! Anyway, I'm not sure how the RUclips algorithm found my video after all these years, but im glad that a lot of you are loving it even though the map has very few details.

I understand the project is dead. Honestly, I wouldn't want you to spend hours upon hours rebuilding the small parts that you had done, but CoD BO3 Custom Maps is probably healthier than ever. Maybe it's because of the lack of traditional Zombies experiences in the new CoDs, but some of the most impressive maps in BO3 customs history were released this year.
Again, I'm not saying this to get you back into mapping, but if that's a reason why you decided not to continue, I would highly recommend giving it a second look. CoD WaW is also getting some love, and there are even a couple of Black Ops 1 and Black Ops 2 maps being released periodically. So the custom maps community is anything BUT death.

Pretty cool, there's something inherently spooky about those WaW assets that make every custom map feel so, well, spooky lol.
I’ve always felt this way. Maybe they make the new maps too colorful.
Waw is grey and washed out. Really selling the land of the dead vibe….in all game modes.
Like either it made it derelict or just straight up lifeless, like a reality gone completely to hell and has been assimilated by the zombie hellscape

Its because from black ops 3 onwards they made most lighting in maps look too vibrant like a nightclub to appeal to kiddos and fucked the eerie apocalyptic factor in the process
@@eurobeatintensifies5840 Saturated colors are not an automatic appeal to children. Shadows of Evil is a map about four criminals, all of which are murderers, one of which is a burlesque dancer, attempting to atone for their sins to appease a squid-man designed after the devil. The map features people being sacrificed on demonic altars, where they quite literally explode into chunks, among other things. It's just a difference in art direction, my dude. If every map had the color pallete of World at War it would get real boring real quick. Treyarch figured that out in BO1, the maps really started to diversify there, from Call of the Dead, to Shangri-La, to Moon.
Waw's bleak and cold assets was a match made in heaven for atmosphere.
The shadows are so dark, making the scarce luminescents scattered around to really pop and gives a feeling of, "I'd be alot safer standing there than here!" Awsome!!

I actually just recently bought bo3 on last Gen for nostalgia (it was the only version I could play in highschool) and I can say with certainty that this looks better.
We're all late to the party it seems, but this is really cool!
Once the modding community is done putting all the old maps into bo3 perhaps they might start "demaking" maps into WaW, or BO1? Probably not, but it's a fun thought.

What a strange time. Getting this recommended five years later. I do wish this custom map had more shadows and better lighting but this is still good

I think that what really makes it for the map in BO3 is the color palette, the constant red and orange that contrasts with the blue from the water zones, the neon lights from the age. sorry for bad englando lmao
This looks really great, you managed to put in a lot of effort and it clearly shows within the map detail, weaponry, music. I wish this could be completed some day haha, but honestly awesome job!

Impressive, seriously. It's sad that this will never officially release, because I would've played the heck out of it. Take your talents and apply for a job at Treyarch or some other game studio, I guarantee you'd get a position. You literally recreated a map from a game released in 2015 in an older version of that engine from 2008, as someone with a decent amount of video game development knowledge and experience, that isn't easy. I have no clue why this is just now popping up on my recommended, but I'm glad it did. I hope you're living your best life ✊❤️

@@klevialushi571 does bo1 have it? i think ive seen a few mods for it as well as a custom paris map for it but they're extremely rare especially in comparison to waw and bo3 mods
@@npcreprogrammer Yes, black ops 1 also has custom maps. I made 2 custom bo1 maps called Büros der Toten and Mansion of the Undead. In one of them the boss fight takes place on the IX arena(yes I remastered that too xD)

I guess tbe people who just want to say the map looks terrible don't get it. If you wanted the map to look "good" you can always just play Black Ops 3. This is a passion project in my eyes (or was, I should say). It would be nice to have it finished, but sometimes you can't get what you want in life. Overall, good map.

I don't know if I am the only one but I highly prefer the ps3 era graphics over the ps4.. They are less detailed and realistic but waaay more atmospheric especially for zombies.

What the hell is this? Is this Shadows of Evil in WaW? Yes it is. Awesome. Are you going to add all the Bo3 weapons like Dredge,BRM,Dingo,HVK and all the others to your map?
Weapons I think yeah, I've added some, but I don't think I'll add other features like margwa, insects etc

It doesn't reive you but it's a really easy thing to fix and i left it for the end XDDDDD

I have a decent mid range pc and can run bo3 on highest settings, but I would have played the hell out of this. The WaW feel is just so gritty and unique, bo3 custom maps just don't feel the same

But i also used other websites like tf3dm, and some other ones that i cannot remember, but you will find all you need in the link that i just sent to you. The only problem is that the website is Russian, other than that there's no problem I guess, but the website has really lots of awesome models that you are looking for.

@@tankdempsey2433 a small fine that extends cod waw ability to load more assets. Look it up, just a dll file which you drag n drop in cod waws folder
