Mate you don't have to keep thanking your followers I'm sure they will agree it's a special twice a week treat what with your skill and enthusiasm we will follow you to the ends of the earth. As I have said before as a complete Novice I am learning so much. When I first looked at RUclips I binged on anything to do with Photography but over the weeks I have witled it down to one channel THE MASTER TURNER. Thanks once again from me and all your followers
Great vlog again Henry. Know what you mean about photographing a well known spot. Nice to be there and see it with your own eyes but much better when you photograph a new scene! Great stuff.
The pano was ethereal. Just loved it. Keep taking us on these great adventures Henry. So grateful to be able to see the Wainwright’s. Thank you for making them accessible.
Loved the first photo. Beautiful. Would love you to explain one day how you decide on your aperture. Why f8 and not f11? It would definitely help newbies like me. Another great video by the way. You always produce such amazing content.
Another great video Henry and glad to be supportive of you as I appreciate the effort you make to bring us the quality content, I recall cycling up that when I done the Fred Whitton challenge a few years ago.👍😊📸 Loved the images and the one with the tarn was worth taking 👍
I love watching you do these videos. I was starting my own journey of travel photography and nature photography but i had to stop and move in woth my dad to take care of him. Unfortunately, i don't know when or if i will ever be able to get back out to do that. So, im glad i got you to watch so i can see all the beauty out to there that you are able to show us.
Yet again those clouds are not quite playing the game. Still not all is lost, great images were captured. Thanks again for sharing Henry. Stay safe 😷🇦🇺. 🐑. 17/214
Henry, don’t thank me, ‘cause I have to thank YOU for inspiring me in my landscape photography, which is totally different than yours, but that is not relevant. Relevant is your way of approaching photography, your energy: that’s what (not only of course) inspires me! Thanks.
Very entertaining Henry, as ever. I liked your Olympus shot of the "puddle". Still can't see a photo like you do. That's why you're a pro and I'm not. Something must be rubbing off a bit though. I drove through part of the Dales recently and got a couple of presentable shots just from the roadside. Really enjoy all your videos. Thank you.
Hi Henry, by some distance the best Wainwright yet, and nice to have a cameo from the latest steed!. I just read the comment saying the pano is sublime, and even though the cheeky puddle shot was far from shabby, the pano shot is truly sublime. Thanks for another grand day out. Keep up the good work.
Both shots I say are bloomin good Henry. Cool. With the Needle and the range in the background - just well I think it's breathtaking. The composition WOW. 👍
Great video again of the Wainwright Henry. I have just back from Glencoe and I hope my pano of the three sisters come out as good as your pano on this video!!
Magic panorama Henry, I could not help think 'would love to see that at dawn with the mist floating amongst those crags'. Trouble being you would have to do another adventure up there or another close-by Wainwright and overnight. But the JOY of it. Another epic video, thanks. John.
You went to the wrong tarn, Henry. There's a 'double infinity' tarn higher up, back towards the pass. Check out the 'Walkers Edition' (softback revision of BOOK SEVEN: THE WESTERN FELLS (revised by me!). As usual, I love the video.
Henry, I subscribed to your channel about a year ago, and I do enjoy it immensely. However, you made a statement in this vlog that I disagreed with when you said, “I’m just not very good at expressing myself.” On the contrary, expression is not just limited to written or spoken words. None other than the Oxford Dictionary defines “expression” as “...things that people say, write or do to show their feelings, opinions, and ideas….” The genuine excitement that you “express” not only in words, but also through your lens, is the reason that I, and others, enjoy your work.
Now we're talking, one of my favourite walks and that road! I once made the mistake of driving up there on a sunny bank holiday - never tried that again. It's really nice to see you doing these fells Henry. I'm too old nowadays, but those memories come flooding back through your lenses :-) Thanks mate.
I am in the U.S., most likely will never step foot in the Lake District, but you are giving me a look into the beauty of your wonderful National Park, thank you. I feel like I have been there with your videos so it eases the pain of not being there a bit. Thank you for your content it’s one of the best of them that are mostly filmed in and around the Lake District. I do want to ask you... what do you think of your Olympus Micro 4/3 camera. I noticed you have been taking a few shots with it every vlog lately. What about a little time in one of your videos talking about it? Cheers, and thanks again.
Hi Robert, when I retired I went to the US for the first time and got hooked on your National Parks (I did around 28 States before COVID cancelled my last one). Eventually, I got rid of my point & shoot and I got my first E-M1 and subsequently bought the Mk2 to go with it and a few PRO lenses. I never regretted either of them, absolutely ideal for travelling with (I'm only a hobby photographer). I still get a smile when I pick up the OMD, it fits my hand perfectly and feels so solid. Sadly I'm a bit old to get another US trip in now, but thanks to my photos I have many happy memories to look back on. As for the Lake District, I spent many holidays walking up there when I was younger, and now I can re-live those times through Herny's videos - such a lovely fella.
Now Now HEnry, that's no introduction, the silver car, you mean the silver bullet, thought we agreed on that. now we may get a proper introduction and a christening :) great views dude :)
The landscape looks so barren. But the sheep must be finding something to eat. Love the names of everything, from fell and tarn to the actual names of the hills. In Canada, they’re either mountains (in the west) or hills most everywhere else. Great adventures! Happy hiking!
Henry “THANK YOU” for continuing to provide us members and viewers with such content week on week. I love your content and your photography is exceptional. Keep that passion alive and I look forward to seeing your work in all the weeks to come :-) Richie
Like the drone footage you added to your transitions… good job!!! Fantastic landscapes to work with. Still, how are you avoiding all the Sheep poop… I know it is every where ;)
Needed my fix of Henry during these crazy times I'm in to start living my dream. Still have to catch up on videos...sheesh :(. the potential of the area is unending. Excellent! Would be a challenge for the "shot", I always get a bit scattered searching for shots in epic open expanses... It is always the light that captures me though. Pano is epic! Now that I'm revitalized, back to the grind! Smashing, thanks Henry!!!!!! #overexposedness love it! 😁
The pano is stunning, absolutely beautiful. Not sure if you mentioned it, how was your focusing done for it ? Was it stacked or did you shoot at infinity ? Loving the videos, great content
Hi Henry, reading through the comments it seems just about everybody's favourite image of the day is the pano.. While i cannot take anything away from those comments i have to say that my fave of the day is the shot of the Eskdale Needle.. absolutely superb, i'm loving the pastel shades lighting the sky and the ruggedness of the environment.... your 'puddle' shot turned out to be very impressive, too.. All in all a very good return on your efforts.. As always Henry, thank you for sharing your world with us.. 😎
Now, perhaps this is just your experience, compared to mine, but personally I thought were was plenty of good photos to be had around that Tarn. But, as I say, it may be just my lack of experience talking. I'm only just learning. You're a top bloke you are!
Top video Henry. Best Wainwright so far in my opinion. I was wondering if you ever use your drone for photography? I don't remember seeing drone photos from yourself. I'm probably wrong lol. Looking forward to your next adventure 🙂
Evening mate, another great video. You could honestly talk about anything and make it entertaining with your enthusiasm and passion. If possible could you do a video (if you haven’t already?) explains how you edited the photos together when you do a pano. I’m pretty new to photography and even more new to using lightroom
@@HenryTurnerphoto I completely understand why you don’t lol I would rather be out looking at the scenery you have on your door step too. I don’t have a wide angle lens yet, so going to practice to have a practice at pano’s with my 55-300mm and see if I can work it out
Two great shots Henry, and since I have started to watch your videos, I now take pano shots more often, whereas before I wouldn't have considered it. But out of interest, when you took the pano into the sun, is there a reason why you didn't use a lens hood?
Hi Henry Are you not using your Nikon anymore, I see your using the Olympus nowadays. I’m thinking of investing in the Nikon 18-200 mm mkii for my D200 what are your thoughts on this lens. Darren.
Still using the Nikon mate I had it out in the video 😂. I've never used that lens so sorry I can't advise, but definitely brilliant the have such versatility!

Simply wonderful Sir! Thanks for bringing us along!
Thanks for another great video with superb images! Loved the Pano!
That Pano.....!! Absolutely stunning and absolutely told a Story

Thanks a lot Paul!
Doooooo really like the pano Henry.
Panorama = Top drawer.
Great vlog again Henry. Know what you mean about photographing a well known spot. Nice to be there and see it with your own eyes but much better when you photograph a new scene! Great stuff.
Excellent as usual, Henry. Another stunningly beautiful area. You are indeed a fortunate man. Can’t wait for the next one.
That pano is spot on Henry 👌
The pano was ethereal. Just loved it. Keep taking us on these great adventures Henry. So grateful to be able to see the Wainwright’s. Thank you for making them accessible.
Thank you ☺️
Unreal
Loved the pano; the tarn in the foreground made it. Overexposedness is my new favourite word!
Good job Henry. Thanks for bringing us along on your adventure.
Both photographs...truly magnificent. No other words necessary. The "cheeky" shot of the little tarn was pretty good too! Cheers. Ken
That pano is absolutely stunning!!
Wainwight no 17, cant wait to see all 197. I love your content man and the time and effort it takes to upload so regular. Respect, Damian.
Henry Turner. A guy who likes to give us stuff from the top drawer as well as your dinner. Wonderful Photographs mate.:-)
Another great video. I really LOVE the pano shot. Awesome!
That Pano is unreal, would go lovely on my living room wall.
Awesome video as always Henry!
Whenever you thank your viewers I saw your face , how much happiness I found on you , you are amazing personality man , keep it up bro 🎉
My my lad that panorama was incredibly stunning son! I think you’ve bagged one for the portfolio there Henry.👍
Henry, another great video absolutely loved the pano the final shot wasn't to shabby either 😉
Love the pano and throughly enjoying the Wainwright series. Your enthusiasm is so refreshing and uplifting. Thanks very much!
Glad you enjoy it!

That pano shot... fantastic! I must try pano's more often. Thanks for the inspiration
Excellent work Henry.
Many thanks!
Thank you Henry superb pano
That 1st pano is magically stunning! Great adventure Henry, always enjoy.
That pano was straight magic! I think it’s my fav image of yours, well done!
Cool picture to end on. Enjoyed this one.

Nice, that pano is sweet, I like the "overexposedness" and now there is a word for it I'll use that word for my own shots. Keep cracking on Henry!
Always a joy to watch mate , and the pano WOW!!! superb
Another great video Henry. Love the way you shoot these and the pano shot is awesome with the overexposedness 😃
Great content with an absolute beauty of a pano...
I’m not afraid to admit that the record scratch makes me laugh every time. 😀

Are the photos you show of what you took after editing or straight from the camera?
What is your decision process to use the Olympus vs. the Nikon? And, question 2: why "peggyclear" for your Instagram handle?
What do you think of the news from Nikon? Are they winding down on DSLRs?
