Heard him in 1979 right after getting saved. I stumbled into Oliver B Greene early on while searching for profitable and able exposition of God's holy Word. More than 40 years later I am still rejoicing while taking in this ministry. Equally glad to recommend Dr Greene to all new believers.
I praise God Almighty the Pastor at our church believes it; teaches it; preaches it, and lives it like Olver B. Green..... Would to God we had every pulput filled with God fearing me like Oliver B. Green!!!!!!!
I was in the Navy in 1975 and read Oliver Greene's book on First John. In the introduction to the book he said that he memorized the book of First John during his study. This was the inspiration for me to memorize First John myself back then. I can remember sending away for his tracts and then giving them to people. He was a blessing!
@@Swede9418 Praise the Lord.... I have read his personal testimony.... His sister used to pray for him before he got saved; while he was in bed at night, and he would blow cigarette smoke in her face while she was praying for his salvation!!!!
Oh God, back in the 70s the old deacon at plaza road Baptist church in Charlotte NC use to turn the radio on in the car to J Vernon McGee and Oliver B Greene. Wonderful days as a 10-14 year old kid.
Likewise when seeking to become rooted and grounded in the Word after being saved I found Oliver B Greene. What a blessing!!!!
