Last week we sat down with buzzing Texas rapper That Mexican OT for an exclusive “Off The Porch” interview! During our conversation he talked about currently being on the Geesyworld Tour with OhGheesy, being born in Bay City, living in Austin during high school, his mother passing away when he was 8 years old, jumping off the porch, starting to rap when he was just 4 years old, growing up being a huge 50 Cent fan, recording his first song when he was 10, explains why he went at Peso Peso on “La Muerte”, feeling like competition is lacking in rap right now, preferring to write his raps than freestyling, making his best music when he is in a good mood, SPM reaching out to him, building a relationship with him, recently signing new deal with Cinematic, reveals how he feels when people try to compare him to Kevin Gates or DaBaby, recalls his only 2 regular jobs he had, the inspiration for his single “Child’s Play”, his upcoming album, and much more!

My boyfriend and I have been together through so much. We started living together after high school and slept on my moms floor. Then we moved into a crappy camper on his dads property, then moved in with my dad. It took us a couple years to find our footing and the love of our families to get through it. Now we own a home, having our first child and have careers. I know that we will love each other through thick and thin. I hope he is loyal and commits to staying with her. It isn’t easy holding somebody down, but it’s worth it if you really love each other. A lot of rappers start off like this and lose sight of what/ who matters.
