Finally someone who actually shows the right way. Thumbs up buddy
Thank you🙌🥰
Thank you for the good video. Removing it is easy enough but damn, so difficult to install it back and tighten clockwise.
Thanks for watching🤝🏻
got to love how BMW complicated bulb replacement...something that anyone should be able to fix on spot is not posible anymore
Some Renault models ate even worse🤭
@@TheKeenMechanic the new EU safety rules is now preventing them to create cars this way...as user must be able to switch light on spot. I wonder when will they notice they stoped adding spare tyre in cars so they can brag how they decreased production costs and weight of the car.
@@PanterusPinkus I also think it is a disgrace they removed dipsticks from most modern engines and auto transmissions.
@@TheKeenMechanic on my car is hidden way in the back...just like they are ashamed of it
Perfect explanation thank you

Wow thank you ur vids really helped me
Thanks for watching and for leaving a nice comment
Thank you very much, the best video

Thanks for the vid! There’s no way I can loosen those two silver screws that hold the bulb cap without an angle screwdriver. Btw I can’t see whether they’re phillips or torx screws?
Hi
If I remember correctly it was T25 torx bit. It is tight for space but doable. I have a very small ratchet that has internal slot for a different bit.
Here is a link for it

@@TheKeenMechanic thanks a lot!

You already know why I'm late and how much I enjoyed the video😅
Super simple and easy to fix great explanation as always!
Yes, no worries at all. I know sooner or later I will hear from you🙌
Yes, simple enough to replace but unfortunate for those who don't have a jack and some T20 torx bits. I remember years ago every car owner can replace their bulbs the standard way from the top. How things are a lot more complicated
@@TheKeenMechanic Yeah it definitely used to be easier🥴
Having a few tools and a mechanical brain is very important these days!
@@mrmusic1880 Absolutely. This is how it all started for me 15 years ago. I got disappointed with the work from Dealership mechanics and started doing my own work, then work for other who appreciate the attention to detail I like to go into
@@TheKeenMechanic Exactly, when my dad's E90 left motorplan it was finally able to be serviced properly by us😂
No more broken clips or scratches!
@@mrmusic1880 Finally able to be serviced properly 😄😄😄🙌🙌🙌 Totally agree
Hi, how to change the turn lights on the same vehicle, there’s no bulb not sure how to, pls advice if you can. Thanks
Haven't done this yet but if I do I will record a video on it.🤝
Was this to change the daylight bulb 💡 nearest to the grill or main beam plz
Hi
Main beam
🤝🏻
Thank you for the video. What year is your F10?
2010 🤝🏻
What's the name of the black plastic part. That's what I need
Look it up on www.realoem.com
What’s the name of this bulb? H7 or d1s?
Hi, D1s xenon bulb🤝
My f10 has different sort of bulb like basic looking one not that flat box like yours.
Yours is probably not xenon headlights. Just normal H7 bulbs
@@TheKeenMechanic yeah they are not xenon just h7 but can i change them for LED xenon like in your car? Or do i have to buy another whole headlight
@@babber2536 You will have to check the harness and plugs. It may not be as simple as just buying the headlights.🤝🏻
This was a bloody nightmare. Shame on BMW for making it so hard to access.
I know buddy. Thanks for your comment
How did you manage to get those two screws off that are holding the cap in place?
Unfortunately with LCI model you have to remove whole bumper to do this job 😢
No way, this is crazy
@@TheKeenMechanic I know it’s nonsense in my old car (e60) I was able to remove headlight unit after removing four screws and that was it and now is a mission for simple maintenance task.
@@miniulabsreview7744 I don't know what the BMW engineers are thinking when designing these things. They are certainly not thinking of the customer when things go wrong. Imagine telling someone you are bringing your car to the dealership for a headlight bulb replacement🤯
@@TheKeenMechanici guess its exactly what car manufacturers and dealerships want
@@andreyk8470 Crazy🤯
Great design by BMW...sheesh
I remember the time when you can change a bulb with 1 hand😁
