I don’t understand how anyone can blend a ancestral, mystic religion with the God of the Bible. If someone absorbs portions of it then they must assume that the God of the Bible exists. It doesn’t take much reading of either the Old Testament or the New Testament to recognize that the God of the Bible is opposed to these other types of worship, and abhors when it is mixed with him.
