Snapping bolt is indeed nightmare. But spinning welded nut inside body/ chassis is worse nightmare 😅. When I replaced my alphard steering rack, the newbie mechanic used air impact gun to put back the subframe's long bolt. Anddddd the welded nut inside the chassis was snap, and they had to cut a hole on the chassis to weld the nut back 😅

classic case of overtightening with an air impact gun. I am always very cautious when using my air impact gun just because of this.
