      I had to google her TBH(!)
      I did not see her being introduced on the show, so as I watched it on TV I thought "for someone with a huge hit in the 80s she has aged *remarkably* well!" So I had to google her to discover she was a young thing doing a cover....
      But a pretty impressive performance, and a receptive, appreciative audience. Good stuff.

    The Regine Velasquez version is better than this version of cover of Heart song the pitch is on point and the belting is very supported ,sustain which make it beautiful in the climax of it.

    She's just plain sic! Pipes are subjective and I'm NOT say'n she has the best pipes ever in the world. What I AM say'n is versions are very different than covers; she has the best pipes to COVER this song. Scroll down, Ann Wilson gives her props. As Simon say's THAT DOES'NT HAPPEN.. just say'n

      Alex Michaels That types of songs are for her.

    • @polski21twelve70
      @polski21twelve70 6 лет назад

      Michael Rafael Dude, that's what I said, to belt real, well written Power Ballads "live" are in her DNA. I grew up in that era. These were the "pop tunes" of our generation. YTube all cover attempts she's the ONLY one to do Ann justice, singing it the way it's meant to be. Unless they know their stuff, 99.9% would not be able to tell difference. Not only was/is/was Heart Rock Royalty, but pioneers of women rock bands..Runaways..Lita Ford JJetc. and it was Ann Wilson's pipes that shattered the "glass ceiling". Sadly Rock Power Ballads are all but extinct. LJ's live shows are S I C. I can't wait till she tours the States. Till she get's a few well written specific for her; adding a few of these covers on tour would be "So Good"

      Alex Michaels Exactly. None of here official videos is half as good as this. Listening to this is pure joy and her voice takes you on the journey. Songs she released lately don't fit to her.

      Jen C liking I'M NOT HAT'N cuz I can't be judgmental with feelings. Cover's can't help being subjective. That said; I feel Carrie is a sic Country singer, but pipes are pipes

      Jen C Love Louisa Johnson and Carrie Underwood. Carry is a close second. Louisa Johnson definitely first. Her song Forever Young is by far her best. I listen to both her songs several times a day.
